My basic understanding is that you pay ~ £1.50 for a train ticket and in return you get 1,000 nectar points. These nectar points equate to £5 spend at Sainsbobs now or £10 in a double-up next November.

If it works you are £8.50 up in a year's time or £3.50 up if you spend now.

If it fails to work, you are £5 down.

Always assuming that the price in Sainsbob is the cheapest you could get anywhere, otherwise the gain isn't quite as good. eg if you could by the £10 item for £8 elsewhere, you are only £6.50 up.

If it fails to work you are only £1.50 down.

    Good morning Elite.
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.

I am only going for the 2k offer and paying £2 each.
Managed all 3 N cards now, so paid £6 for £30 (60 in double up).

    Here's how I did it:
    1. Went to GWR site and made new account entering details and N card number.

    2. Clicked through this link http://tickets.gwr.com/gw/en/landing/promotion.aspx?id=61B7F01038SignUp&isAllowed=False signed in then searched for Reading-Oxford 2/12 + clicking to use a railcard.

    3. Looked for a £2 ticket and clicked through to buy, 2004 points showing before I paid.

Is the V1rgin 2k offer on your N3ctar account or available online for new accounts please?

    Thank you.

This offer was through my nectar account. I clicked on the link through offers in the app.

2000 bonus points when you make your first booking with Virgin Trains.

I missed the last one and had only done GWR before this.

I still haven't booked another ticket, the offer does not specify it has to be on a virgin train, just that my journey has to be on the west coast mainline.

purposely enlarged when we had a new kitchen, it houses 2 black (keter?) black storage shelf units:D:D

Oh Pippa, me too! I used to make cakes with it when I was a child and Mum gave it to me ages ago. Finally, because the feet were worn and it overheated I think, it died and I lasted about a week before I got the same model again (had lots of accessories) on eBay. I use it loads and have got some extra accessories from the Kenwood Chef Restore website. It's sitting on the counter in the kitchen now as I've just used it to make my Christmas cake. Normally it lives in the corner, on a plastic chopping board so I can slide it around rather than lift it out of the corner (but I don't use it on that).
Picasso, all of this talk of Kenwoods has made me reconsider where it lives and I'm considering keeping it in the corner of my worktop too. It's coming out tomorrow for the Christamas cake, so I'll give it a try and see how we get on.

Thank you I edited about 5 times and still posted wrong :)

Not your fault, the forum was interpreting part of the link as a smilie and I had to trick the forum to prevent that.
