That shopping trip didn't go as planned
we decided not to go to town as we thought the traffic would be horrendous as it was school run time.
instead we ventured to lidl in the next village.
Loads of cheese on shelfthanks for the heads up snap :)we then came back to the local coop just at rtc time,
foods never down to pennies but I was happy with a whole roast in the bag chicken for £1.13 - don't know how they come up at that price??
2 salmon fillets £1, 1 piece rump steak £1, bag of microwavable veg 24p, and one or two other bits.
the sa said they had 4 trollies of rtc foods...they don't put it down any more and from what I gather its thrown away at the end of the day....ill have to check on that and see if they do just throw it perhaps they could donate ??
now to play tetris in the freezer with ice cream tubs, magnums and now 2 whole chickens.0 -
They look nice though

I think they just make it up as they go along:mad: I was given a cash refund. All I can suggest is to try a different store if you have one nearby, sorry:(0

That is always the dilemma mixer out, which actually doesn't live in our kitchen, but in a cupboard in the dining room, or not??
I usually go with the mixer which is a kenwood chef approx 45 years old!!
It's the only way I know how to do things... My late dad was disbled, but had a good job, he was the local pharmacist, so he would buy mam all of the gadgets to make life easier for her. So I learned to bake using it! She also taught my DS to bake and it brought a tear to my eye when I found that he had bought himself a Kenwood too!
