    I will set Black Friday off :cool:

    Went into town yesterday so decided to go for :( shoes to Edward Meeks while in town;

    I got down to 2 pairs undecided which to buy .

    Assistant had asked a couple times if I was ok after about 20 pairs shoes on floor in 2 sizes each style :o

    So I told her.

    She told me if I went back today for shoes Black Friday I would get 20% off which io decided to buy.

    She then goes away and I got down to 2 pairs clarkes and hotter and was undecided so I ask assistant when she came back if she could save them both til today and I would decide :)

    Assistant said you don't have to come back we will knock 20% off now don't want you coming back in your state.

    I ask her price both pairs up and decided :money: would have both pairs I needed decent shoes cheaper ones I buy don't last so I end up spending more in long run ,

    So will ask DS which he thinks I should wear for :(

    So glad she used her common sense :) Not glad about the reason you needed them though :(

    Happy Birthday TM Saversue and Silvercar have a great day :bdaycake::bdaycake: :j:j Also my BF birthday :D

    Morning all.

    Off to hospital again for CT scan. Fingers crossed they dont find anything iffy. this CT scan is just to check on a lung nodule they found when I had a previous CT scan. But the consultant didnt seem too bothered about it and they are common and benign. So hope he's right. :eek:

    I will be keeping everything crossed for you xx

    I have just nearly given myself a heart attack :eek: I have been saving up Ebay purchases, two of them are parts of Christmas presents, for the 6 x nectar points. I just spent nearly £40 quid on there, have not done that in ages and it hurt :rotfl::rotfl:

    Happy Birthday TM :bdaycake::bdaycake:
    Happy Birthday Saversue :bdaycake::bdaycake:
    Happy Birthday Silvercar :bdaycake::bdaycake:
    Hope you all have lovely days.

    Thanks all!

    Family all coming here for dinner tonight. So lovely to have my chicks back in the nest that I don't mind that it is me that has the work.

    Morning all!

    If an Xbox game I bought on double up at Sainsbury's is now cheaper in the BF sales, should I return? Or should is a game paid for only in doubled up nectar points better value?

    Hope everyone has a successful bargainous day :T:money:

    It depends on the savings and how much you want to raise your profile. Plus sainsburys receipts are barcoded now so they COULD flag accounts that are returning excessively

    I guess you could argue that you would have spent your doubled up vouchers on something else if the game was cheaper elsewhere.

    Thank you for the reminder about the accessible booking tool. My child is now booked onto the Oxford to Reading.

    It's so nice and mild out there today. I even stayed dry cycling in :-).

    We're off to mid-Wales after work today for the Real Ale Ramble. It's a 20 mile walk on Saturday with beer tasters at the checkpoints, and then the same again on Sunday. So 40 miles of walking and plenty of beer. It should be a good weekend. :D

    I'm off to a good start:)

    Crostini made from whoopsied baguette

    Roast potatoes in the oven. Large sack of potatoes from Lidl are very poor. If I had the time I'd march back in with them. About a third are discoloured and a pre turning black when par boiled:o

    Morning, it all depends on how the refund is given - it seems a bit pot luck but some inc me have reported getting it back to a debit card if any amount paid for with said card x
