I feel the same about Black Fri, nothing I really want at the moment, and don't get paid until next Friday so can't really afford to be buying things that don't fall into the "need" category!

Allbeauty have Boss Femme for £26 75ml EDP. Would that be suitable? I saw it on HUKD, so credit to them.
I have this particular fragrance, and I really like it.

    Thank you, that looks good.

Mine have gone on too, thanks to the help on here.

I found some robins today sel said £2.50, tried one on ss and went through at that.. needless to say I put them back.

I'm out of contract with VM now so called them to disconnect, was offered a one off £50 credit but that was all, so hoping they come back with a better offer.
Apparently we use about 850mb of broadband per month, they said that was high, and I wouldn't get any better elsewhere.

Now to look round for another deal.

They will say anything to make you stay. Had a laugh one time, we said we were thinking about going to Sky and they said we would have to pay a telecoms engineer if we have any internal cable problems, I argued we would not, and he asked what made us different to everyone else, rather took the wind out of his sails when I told him we were telecoms engineers :rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you. DS has just tried to put the app on my phone but it says not compatible with my phone, maybe it's too old :rotfl: can I just do it from the website while I am in the store?

That is good news, you can do it on the o2 priority website on your phone and then you never have to put the o2 sim back in whereas if you use the app you need the sim each time they upgrade they app.
    I think....

They pluck figures out of the sky - it is irrelevant really if you have unlimited :).

Decent Bkack Friday (plus cashbavk) deals this week with VM if you/partner are able to apply under a new name. Or if you want to speed them along, an application to a new provider with number transfer can work (TalkT don't charge up front fees).

Thanks. I don’t think I could apply in hubbys name because come next year he wouldn’t be any good calling them to disconnect, and don’t think I’d get away with pretending to be him lol.

Surely VM can’t be the only ones with a decent unlimited broadband..

I think I’ll just apply elsewhere and hope they come back with a decent price.

ShopSm hasn't started yet ... but be patient, when it launches, contact Amex and tell them the business isn't taking Amex. In previous years this resulted in the account credit anyway as a thank you for letting them know/apology.

And sometimes we have shared on here which shops have been listed incorrectly so that others can notify and get the credit too.

Wendy is right about Asda (and supermarkets in general) selling sims for £1 with no registration required. Also Poundland and lot of newsagents and convenience stores too.

Thanks Wendy and Enormo, I've not had a chance to look yet but this is very hopeful. You've got to phone a number to validate the ASDA sim, their website says. It will be interesting to see what they ask me when I do that!

Possibly a slightly unusual one, our garage door is playing up and I suspect despite only being six years old it will need replacing rather than repair. It obviously considerably pains me to spend a grand on something but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for home county suppliers?

I am even wondering if we get £1000 of 'value' from keeping the car in the garage as opposed to just on the drive - perhaps if I hope the new one will last for 10 years and work out a cost per day I can justify it....

I have recently made the decision to turn my garage into a 'play room' and to put storage there. I bought some IKEA wardrobes for storage, put a spare fridge (from eBay) and freezer (Beko) there and got a table from eBay to use as a work surface. It's totally brilliant. After doing this I was told that it isn't always cheaper to insure a car in a garage than on a driveway, though I don't know why. So it is worth checking. But do get a quote for a repair. Mine went some years ago and it was very reasonable to be fixed.
