For anyone who missed out on C0sta (it can't just be me :)) and won't be using it this week, you could add the Rakuten credit to your account tonight, add tomorrow's offer tomorrow and buy/hire a more expensive film (if I have understood previous comments on HUKD correctly).

It does indeed work. Enter the first code today and the points expire on Thursday. Enter the second code tomorrow and those points expire on Friday. If you order a film on thursday whilst both sets of points are valid you can get a more expensive movie. The best part is the rental will then be available to view up to 48 hours later ie Saturday night

I forgot to grab a code this week though

Edit: the metcalfe movie codes should work on top to boost your points further

I tried to pay in a small shop that is listed on the promotion today, finding out it doesn't accept ae card at all!
Struggling to find many shops in my area that do take it.

ShopSm hasn't started yet ... but be patient, when it launches, contact Amex and tell them the business isn't taking Amex. In previous years this resulted in the account credit anyway as a thank you for letting them know/apology.

I've used Holidaysafe for holiday insurance last few years as recommended by MSE with no probs and made a couple claims too including this year, always paid out, the best bit is no excess :)

Present assistance question for the day.

I need to order a selection of real ale that can be delivered. Needs to be under/around fifty quid and I need to deliver it to another address. Anyone ordered this sort of thing before, and where from TIA.

What a big deal everyone seems to be making about this.
I remember the days when it was New Year's Day when "deals" were about. Then Boxing Day.... Now Black Friday. 2020 will it be August?

I can say that I honestly have nothing I want to buy or considering buying.

I will probably just look at so called deals and say "Geesh! what a rip off"

I had fun with red letter days over the weekend.
