    Good morning.
I've just done the Q bonus thing and ordered dd some maternity pyjamas, they were £24.50- £5 sparks offer-£14 rewards vouchers so I've only actually paid £5.50. I forgot about the vat so doubt it will work. They would have been great at £3 but hey ho.
Too much going on here to try to get my head around train tickets but I hope you all enjoy Oxford its a beautiful city, make sure you make time to take a walk down the river.
I was a bit spooked on Sunday. I woke up at 4.20am to Bobby howling, and I mean howling I've only ever heard him do it twice, the first time was when he heard the smoke alarm for the first time and the second was when dd was playing something on her phone and there were sirens. Anyway once we established that he was ok and we weren't being burgled I then couldn't get back to sleep. I realised that it was the exact time 12 months previous that my sister rang me to say dad had been taken to hospital:eek:
Second spooky event of the day was.... we were all going out for a meal on Sunday to mark the anniversary of losing him, when we got home we sat in the lounge. Last year when all the funeral etc was over my mum gave me and my sister some money to buy something as a reminder of our dad, I bought two birds, not real ones, a woodpecker and a kingfisher and they live on the mantlepiece.....so when we got home on Sunday I noticed that the woodpecker was lying on its side :eek: there was nothing to knock it over and its never happened in the last twelve months :eek::eek:

Good morning, I do believe you had a visitor :A, when my mam passed every year for the next seven years on her birthday my dad would come downstairs to the motion alarm in the kitchen being triggered, her favourite place, when is didn't happen on the eighth year he was very disappointed :)
These are both spooky, shows they are watching over you all:A:A

Yes Amex Gold - sorry, it is currently 20k plus 2k from spending, not 22+2 (I must have got carried away spending to hit 24k ). First year is free but the annual fee is £140 .

You link your Nectar from within Membership Rewards and transfer - they say it can take up to 4 working days so it is just a case of stopping spending in month 11 then transfer (you can transfer more than once, so you could just transfer at each statement if you wanted).

If you are referred the referrer gets 9k - so once I was up and running after being referred by a friend, I referred Mrs Anon and plan to cancel mine, take a 6 month holiday then be referred back by Mrs Anon. Cancel hers, then flip every 6 months ;). You are classed as a new customer eligible for the joining offer after 6 months :).

I have mistimed on this occasion and will pay a fee for this month (apparently they refund/charge prorata) but had SD, W1lko, Am4zon and other good offers (plus ShopM coming up) so will cancel at the end of December.

    HTH

Does the credit limit on these start at 2k then or do you have to build it up? i have a big bill i could pay straight out if it was that too start with but don't want to spend loads of dribs and drabs:rotfl:

Had first good nights sleep since I don't know went bed straight after Jungle :)

Poppy woke me just gone 4am for toilet so waitied for her to come in and went back bed next time I looked going up to 8am.

Rang doctors receptionist enquiring about a sick note I get 5 days off compassionate leave so need one for Friday .I am 60 and 3/4 years young :) and worked all my life and don't think I have never needed a sick note before

Receptionist said I would have to see doctor  well that set me off on my crying shaking and getting angry all same time mode. I told receptionist I wasn't in right frame of mine to see either her or him and explained about her not wanting visiting mum Friday before she past.

So don't know yet but mum most probably need a post Morton leaving that , Mortem Morten Mortan Mortum whatever way you spell it gave up.

So receptionist asked would I like to see nurse I said yes as long as doctor didn't enter room to see me.

So going seeing nurse 4-30pm Thursday should have death certificate then .

Nothing planned today so hopefully can rest with our Poppy :A

Bck fencing should be done today , all up side front type fencing was told yesterday that's today if that's get done. All needs doing is cracked panes 2 now in windows and brickwork sorting outside under windows new iron front gate and paths jet washing . Then council and their partners can shoo and neighbour next door can do all patching up outside so I am :)

Sorry for long post had to write it while I could see eyes keep leaking then everything looks blurry :(

tweets, so pleased you managed some sleep last night:T

Oh tweets, I know what your going through. Please look after yourself.

I am in the process of sorting all my dads paperwork out, have rang all pensions, life assurance, mortgage etc.

Have had to get birth certificates for myself and my brothers, as they wanting originals, and we have no idea where to look for them, so easier paying £12 to have new ones sent out.

Funeral is booked for 29 November.

Some family members really make life difficult, we have said no children at crematorium as we dont think its fair for little ones to go. Well some are really playing their faces at it. I think its hard enough for adults to cope with a cremation never mind young ones.

We have said we will have a little talk at home with the little ones and let some ballons off in the garden, to send grandad off.
Sarah, try and look after yourself too, has dh been back again?

25% sale in S, as was mentioned before.
Noticed a lot of people in the queue returning stuff!

I only have jeans to return, I've been buying the same ones for ages and the fabric/fit keep changing. I'll leave it a week or so. My S got rid of changing rooms which is a nuisance.

    Evening all,
By gum you peeps have talked a lot, lots of catching up to do!

We had planned a trip to the 'toon' using our bus passes:jbut neither of us slept last night and the weather was so miserable so I went back to bed!

Have made a chilli using up frozen beefburgers, and done the ironing - what exciting times.

On a positive note an unexpected no spend day.

Will catch up after eating said chilli!
