    You got me on ignore?:D

It is tempting to ignore that.

Must have missed it when skim reading.

    Hope you've had your shower!

    Night all.

Yes, £1.20 for a child on the options above, assuming you are talking about Virgin West Coast (GWR?).

I really appreciate the very helpful instructions you gave. I made a booking on both lines - time will tell if I did it right ! Thanks again.

It has to be specific trains - the LNER offer has to be LNER trains, Virgin West Coast offer has to use the Virgin West Coast train. There aren't many of them hence the ones quoted - you can double check during when booking as they show their logos.

If you have chosen the wrong one, could you cancel and rebook? Still worth booking the right one as even at £2.40 (2x£1.20 tickets) you would be £2.60 or £7.60 up ;).

Also worth booking LNER too - notice I was (Little Anon was :D) going from Haymarket to Waverley, not from Waverley to Haymarket (on this occasion :))

    Hth

I did book on the 2 lines you mentioned , it was the times that looked odd. But the LNER site did mention the train was a minute early so hopefully it's the right train.

  • S double up WARNING.

I decided to check my nectar points balance ahead of going into S again tomorrow and my balance was £50 lower than I expected. I have now spent ages sifting through receipts and all the voucher till spits etc and eventually noticed that on one £200 spend of vouchers one of the manual overrides has gone through as a £50 “nectar redemption” which has taken a further £50 from my points balance.

So please check receipt before leaving store.

Will have to do battle in the morning.
