Please could someone who hasn't yet claimed the free O2 advent calendar look to see if it's sold out yet today? I didn't know whether to bother to let DD know.

I can't tell as both mine and Mr TS's just say voucher used.

To answer my own question yes it is still available I let her know and said to check and she just finished work and got one :j

what if you want to gift someone a roll of tape though?

ETA: reminds me of the year I unwrapped a present and a pair of scissors fell out. Turns out my mother in law had wrapped them up and then spent hours trying to find them again :rotfl:

When I'm wrapping presents I seem to be spend about 30% of the time trying to work out where I put the sellotape down, 30% finding the end of the sellotape, and around 20% pushing the cat off the wrapping paper.

I can't believe people are managing to do their Christmas shopping already. I've got no idea what to get anyone!

I doubt if we'll see them anymore as it's been on a few of the money saving sites on FB. :(

    Afternoon peeps. :)

Still worth looking, I left 28 behind me today and 20 last Thursday.

Probably worth checking in the mornings.

I didn't think I would find any Andrex 12 last week after the weekend, but struck lucky on the dolly that had been left out in the toilet/kitchen roll aisle. This was around 7.00 am in a Superstore

  • Well, managed to get to a S, got some boots and a mid weight jacket, still got some points so will be looking in another S tomorrow for one or two other bits.

Came back and cleaned the bird cage, crazy, I was outside in my T shirt and jeans

Just got some Bertie Bassets for a gift, £1.25 in Tesco, 400g box. The Jelly Babies and Wine Gums are same price on offer until 27th November.

Best price I have seen Berties since they were reduced after last Xmas. Next cheapest is Asda at £1.75.

They also had 250g boxes of Thorntons Moments half price at £2.00.

Quite a few good chockie offers in !!!!!! at the minute

Sorry to hear that - why do they make things so difficult and potentially spoil a great promo? Where does the 2 voucher/£100 limit appear from? One voucher/£50 per transaction you could possibly understand if the tills hadnt been programmed properly to accept the full £200 - but £100 is odd :(.

I won't be able to go until later, so we will no doubt be clearer by then.

I had not factored limited stock issues into my plans . No going back now with "a few" vouchers to spend :o.

I had no trouble this morning - store was very quiet, just a couple of people changing points and several choosing wines etc. I already had 2 x £50 vouchers so went and chose my wine (fully stocked shelves and pleanty of choice.) I decided to get an extra £50 voucher so got a total of 23 bottles which came to exactly £150. Got an extra voucher from CS and then went to till. Our store had overidden the tills so that 2 coupons of the same value would scan OK, any extra coupons would not scan but Supervisors were doing a manual transaction for those and then working some sort of internal fiddle to account for the extra vouchers. They were fine about it and I was out in well under 30 minutes.
