    Good morning all

Say no to credit cards Huge thanks for the heads up on the toilet rolls I am venturing out shortly so will make Tesco my first port of call

    TM :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks also to the posters who remind us to look up Only the elite:D

The lovely SA who helped me get the bag off the top shelf said "Shall I just pass you one or two?". When I said it's ok I might buy them all she said " Oh no, don't worry, I'll get the whole bag down but you don't have to buy them all!" Bless her. ;):D I then found another two at the opposite end of the top shelf. It helps to look for the red band at the top of the pack.

Yes done it thank you so much for all your help.

And thank you again......think I was there before elaine this morning:D

I have some if you don't hit lucky though.:)

I forgot that the self scan doesn't open until 8 and didn't want to raise an issue going through a manned till so had to do a bit of waiting around with a full trolley of toilet rolls, trying not to look suspicious:rotfl:

Can you believe that as I was taking the toilet rolls from the shelf the exact same sa who I bumped into last week while buying the tuna ( she was going around doing a click and collect shop) and who rushed off to fill a carrier bag for herself .......was stood right in front of me.:rotfl: wonder if she went back to check the prices:rotfl:

    Such fun:T:T

Karlie - what is the best way of contacting Amazon.
I cant seem to find a live chat button but I know Ive used it before.

I had some cushion pads delivered which were not the 'luxury' described, undersized and flat. The automated system has taken me though the returns process but no way if actually talking to amazon themselves.

Also I ordered some of last nights chocolate bars which I know wont be as described. What is the process then when they arrive - how do I tell Amazon I have a misdescribed order?

Thanks for the tips about subscribe and save :D

Subscribe & Save (S&S) is very useful and I've ordered hundreds of bargains over the years.

The first S&S item you order is guaranteed at the price you order it at. Go for 6 months if you can. Golden rule is to cancel once despatched/delivered because if you don't, your next order will be charged at whatever the price is on day of despatch.

You get a 5% discount on order 1 to 4, your 5th order will give a 15% discount across all orders. However, for this to happen you have to have all orders delivered on the same day.

There's a good member on the dark side called amazoncrazy who posts some very good deals especially with S&S items. I try and select a date 2 weeks in advance and then I usually have 5 orders by end to get 15% off.

A lot of the times the items are mispriced based on a single unit when in fact you'll get a case of 3/4/6/8/12 etc. Sometimes you'll only get a single item despite what the listing says but contact Amazon and they'll refund and you keep the item.

I complain if they deliver a few days early (which they usually do) and they'll extend your Prime membership by 1 month - haven't paid for Amazon Prime in years. May seem inappropriate but if I select delivery date of x then I expect it on that date and not a few days before when I'm not in! I'm not one to shy away from complaining. :rotfl:

    Good afternoon everyone. :D

  • Froctober definitely did me good it has reduced my buying for the sake of it. I have just really struggled spending £6 for the tcb and ended up buying dh 6 shower gels from b@@Ts, they'll work out at 50p each so not to be sniffed at.
At 7.30 this morning I was going to dash off to Ts for loo rolls but I just do not have the energy I'm in work at 10am so it won't be happening this morning.
    Happy birthday Bubbs.
