    Evening all

After an enormous amount of dithering which I am a world class at doing I went for quality over quantity and I got 3 of the boxes of truffles from Aldi for £2.99 for the TCB offer (I did check that there was no restriction on which store you bought from).
OK not the most cost effective choice but they are the equivalent of lindt and at least there are vaguely Christmassy.

We don't go through a vast amount of chocolate now - I've been totally put off by the dumbing down of UK brands bought out and Americanised - Cadburys, Thorntons, Rowntrees .
Also very aware of how little real chocolate is in British chocolate and the dreaded sugar and palm oil.

I tend to get a bar of supermarket finest or Lindt or the Aldi version of high cocoa solids - Aldi comes in neat little wrappers. I have a little basket that sits in the fridge and there is always a nice bit of chocolate in readiness.

So 49p after TCB pays out so not too bad. Hopefully the various cashback sites will have other bits of christmass in the next couple of months.

I had the spring water 3+1 scanned yesterday
there were 3+1 brine so that's for today'

so what else in T today?

    tuna

Tuna glitch is over. I say 'glitch' because I'm sure it was a glitch....I thought it may be a change of packaging, shrinkflation, close to BBE etc. But the more I think about it, the more I'm sure it was a good 'ol T's glitch.

Today the same products (with the same barcodes, weight, packaging etc.) were all scanning at £3.50, all of them were £1ish yesterday and over the weekend. All £1ish SELs have been removed. This was across 3 different stores.

It was good while it lasted.
