well I arrived home after a nearly 4 hour journey from London yesterday:( not only did I have the blinding sun to contend with but also blue flashing lights from an ambulance negotiating rush hour traffic and beeping horns from cars stuck in the queues, an abandoned motor bike at a junction on the motorway, an accident, (didn't look serious front bumper dented in, but chaos caused) Rotherhithe tunnel only accepting cars but big white vans still think they can go thru, but turned away again causing more hold ups, pedestrians walking on motorway signs up, 30mph speed limit, as well as the tractors, drivers with full beam headlights on once dark and the customary driver going along at 30mph whatever the speed limit is- !!! at least I got home safe with a few cash back items:)
I managed to get the tuk tuk drinks from s but paid £2 each and £1.80 back but with the double offer still worked out ok :)
divine choc from shopmum I stopped on route home at a m+s simply food at a petrol station duly paid for my choc got my receipt but it doesn't say m+s only bp petrol on it so I hope it is accepted
thanks for whoever posted about the metro yesterday, for once I was in the right place at the right time, but only just, the evening standard was being put out so I managed to grab the last of the metros :)
dh at home managed yesterday to get the drinks and ball thingys for shopmum, rtc andrex (which I mentioned yesterday) and a few packs of crisps :)

Drat the topcashback spend a tenner plus vat get £5 bonus seems to be targeted to specific emails

I clicked on the email they sent me and logged on via that email address and I did my M&S sock plus other bits order

Then I used the same email and tried to go to OHs but it says the offer does not apply

OH well maybe in the next few days OHs will get a TCB offer - I like to co-ordinate all of the order collections.

    Good morning cookmates

Wrote this little poem when at the airport lounge. Even a bench deserves a good word once in a while :)

    The Bench

How many people have visited me?
    I couldn't count, I couldn't see.
From young to old, and those in between
The bold, the shy, the kind, and the mean.

Some quiet, some loud, that jumped up and down
Some happy, some sad, that wore a big frown.
Some kicked, some scratched graffiti to show
Their love, or hate for someone they know.

Through the months, the seasons, the years,
The smiles, the laughter, the crying and tears,
Silent and strong, devoted and true,
Always waiting, to support all of you.

    Good evening Elite.
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.

    Loving your work JTS.

    TS........kettle's on! :D

I must admit I wasn't taking much notice of any discussions regarding the SSM MOCs as I did a full print off last month but I've just logged on and found the MOCs refreshed :T

All printed off so now I am reading back as to where best to use them ... vaguely saw something about Len secrets ...
