Is the quote through your laptop putting you as a named driver? Which you are as you will be driving her car from time to time. Insuring anyone who is young to drive a car is terrible, but adding a legitimate named driver with experience may help to bring it down.

You have probably read by now but yes we did add both parents, I would probably have to go with her when she drives to work to bring the car back again, far too expensive to park in town.

Just makes sense to have her boyfriend on too. If they go to visit DD1 taking turns to drive makes sense.

My nectar account has been fraudulently cleaned out, twice over leaving a huge negative balance. Almost £150 worth of points spent twice in one day in a Sainsbury’s and an Argos store in two different towns I have never been to, and whilst my card is still safe in my purse.

I have read of this happening to people before so hopefully nectar will get to the bottom of it and replace my points.

I’ve just checked my nectar account to find that instead of being £400 in credit it is showing a £300 negative balance. All cleared out on the 2nd Oct.:(:(. I am mortified.

Disaster this evening we ran out of pasta shapes.

Must have not noticed the last of that 13p? Fusilli/Penne 1kg bags from As couple years ago had been opened. :o

Had some wholewheat spaghetti but meal plan was macaroni cheese/pasta bake so not suitable at all. I did suggest changing recipe for a carbonara but there wasn't any bacon or ham in the fridge it's all frozen.

Mini heart attack having to pay 95p a kilo in Ts.

And whoopsies were really already done and dusted so only got the dregs. :rotfl:

They no longer seem to be reducing the veg to pennies either so only came home with bag of bananas for 22p. Probably connected with what you posted about Westie that they are no longer putting best before dates on a lot of produce. :(

I forgot to say had a nose in my local M&S this morning.

The only RTC I found was Bramley Apple spread for 50p, picked a couple as thought would be nice to go with the pork leg. And then I found loads of pack of 2 gammon steaks for £1.60. Afraid Froctober went out the window as I had a £2 off £15 spend on Sparks. :o

Found couple more things Chunky Haddock fillets and some Brie like cheese that were reduced and then treated myself to some Blackcurrant Sundae cakes for £2. They are not as nice as they used to be definitely a change of recipe and lot smaller than I remembered, I'm sure they used to have a pastry botton and a spongy top of the butter cream. Most disappointed. :o

On the plus side the Bramley Apple spreads actually scanned at 25p each. :D

    Hi SNS

Nectar were really quick in sorting me out with a new account and restored all my points and an additional £10 worth immediately. I am astonished that they still haven’t overhauled the system to prevent this kind of fraud, as it must be costing them a fortune.

Try not to worry about it.

Thought I better log on to check my Nectar. I only have £20 I'm hoping to double up to £40. All ok.

Have got 100 bonus when I next shop and 200 at a Sainsbob local. Wonder if these will combine?
