Good morning all
Well I had a surprise this morning, just as I was having breakfast
Bedroom fitters arrived I thought it was tomorrow Anyways it will be done by tonight now :j
I am so grateful to the Kon Marie thread The drawers under the bed are tidy. Fitters had to move bed to make more room All the stuff going into the new wardrobes was folded tidily on spare bed and it only took minutes to move it into the other room
DH is "Rained" off It is horrendously wet
Take care and enjoy whatever you do.0 -

Nothing on Quidco, well, I say nothing, might as well be as it was two prize draws and I refuse to upgrade.
Great to see you back AJ.
As for temperature the heating is set on, we don't really know. When we had the heating unit replaced (warm air heating) he replaced the thermostat too, and that just has numbers 1 - 9 on it. I think it is a good idea, we set it at a comfortable temperature rather than a numerical value.
Don't talk to me about temperatures! Mr AJ has turned heating on. He brought me a coffee in bed early this morning only to find I'd opened the window to let air in. Well I felt hot so needs must. Not a happy chappy this morning :rotfl: stomped off to his allotments, he's still keeping 3 on for next year :T
There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Well i've definitely made a dent in the freezer this first week of Froctober. But still finding i'm needing to buy fresh veg, lunch box snacks, milk etc so this first weeks spend isn't as low as i'd hoped, but hopefully going in the right direction0

Like the price for so many grocery items across all grocery areas of the stores in Great Britain, although the shelf price has remained unchanged, the price for us in Asda (grrr:mad:) on Colgate 360 Max White One Toothbrush also went up last Wednesday night - on this item from £1.80 against Morrisons to £3.80 plain Asda. It's now cheaper to buy this item from Superdrug. It's also cheaper from Morrisons (although a couple of pence more expensive unless you have a staff discount there, certainly nowhere near as expensive as £1.82 dearer at Asda for non-staff: even if you have an Asda staff discount, you still pay more than Morrisons and Superdrug, and indeed Boots which should be the same shelf price as Morrisons). The price of £1.80 was always there as an offer from Asda available in the background, as long as Morrisons have been £2.00 with a time shift delay, even if most people who have bought it in Asda, due to their own lack of shopping around and failure to do target shops or check a Price Guarantee, have been paying £3.80. The withdrawal of the PG means Asda is no longer offering this background offer. The £1.80 was available, potentially, to everyone who shopped in Great Britain (I believe statements in some of Asda's advertising, when it had it, for the PG stated that it was available for "everyone"). It seems to me that it is probably the largest and most widespread increases in prices right across all the grocery sections in stores in Asda in its entire history.
Tesco also no longer offers, even in Great Britain, a background price of £2.00 against Morrisons and the only prices generally there are now similarly high compared to Superdug, Morrisons and Boots - unless someone can find a SEL price from any time when Tesco may have had the product cheaper on its shelf price and claim DTD (that may be the best option available anywhere: but it seems quite unlikely - I can't rule out completely the possibility of Tesco being best, due to an incorrect £2 SEL or something, but I don't think that will be available, if it even exists, for many of us - especially as I now think it's some time since T's real shelf price was £2).
(Sorry for the bold - I just wanted to whisper a store name near the beginning that I don't really like anymore, and that was my chosen way of doing so. I don't think this bit is whispered as such though:rotfl:.)0 -

Wondered if anyone would be confused.
Yes, the Giants Puppets in Liverpool, that have been here for the weekend for their last ever performance.
Over a million people went to see them.
Has been lots about it on the news, but maybe it was only NW News.
Sorry if I confused you .0 -
Window fitter just took sliding patio door out OMG couldn't believe how easily it came off, no wonder they aren't safe. Had extra locks on it, but still
Got call from doctors cancelling my appointment this afternoon, wants be to go for more blood tests today and see her on Wednesday instead0 -
