Suppose a supermarket had a double value promotion on spending loyalty points and a policy that if you purchase something for points and then changed your mind and returned it they refund in cash. Would it be fraud to buy something with the intention of returning it?
QUOTE]
I suppose it relies on whether there was "intent" or not. It must happen thousands of times anyway over the promotional period, people get excited at the prospect of a bargain and impulse buy things they instantly regret.
I would imagine in that instance with just one purchase maybe it could be classed as an innocent mistake“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Good morning. Has anyone managed to track down the elusive carling premiere lager please? It seems to have disappeared from my usual haunts0

Good Morning all
I've just done it Dave, you need to do them separately but using the product code the guy mentioned every time . Then you get a Rakuten code in your emails x 5as in 5 different codes.
Ps I've just read that not all emails work . Gmail works as that's what I used .0 -
Good morning all, glorious sunny day out there but started a little chilly. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Nothing exciting on either of my Nectar cards - one has a 100 point bonus for buying something in Sainsburys but that's as good as it gets.
(And I only know what bonus points are due because of their lack of frequency. I know I've got 100 points for an online activated offer for buying bodyform and 80 points for something else by the end of October...)
Also checked the Marks sparks and this week its just 20% off various categories of clothing on all the cards. OH has a 30% off clothing and homeware which might be useful.
Last week he had £2 off £10 in the food department but its not valid on yellow sicker items so we just got a bag of chicken breasts and paid for them with a credit note
I had £5 off leggings on my own Sparks card which I spotted in the early hours of last Thursday morning so I ordered forest green jeggins (nice colour contrast with the winter boots) in the sale for £3.50 in real money which I collected on Sunday, perfect fit.
I also used my mailing code for an extra 200 loyalty points.
Marks are making up their statements now to send out loyalty vouchers, might be November but fingers crossed these points count towards this statement.
And that's about it. I managed a couple of Wilko orders for the £2.99 bonus earlier in the week - just a tub of bird fatballs and also cat food - that bonus is due in November.
2 other things on TCB are suppose to go into the paid column this week but we will see.
And as for the new normal ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Is anyone part of the Insiders? If so look out for an email

It’s super easy, just click below to read through the campaign page, and register before 3rd October to take part.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning.
If you have a N3ctar Am3x credit card it is worth looking at their recommend a friend offer - the referrer gets 5000 and the referee gets 21,000 points (after £2k spend). You can apparently refer up to 18 friends per year.
So am I right that I could refer Mrs Anon - after points come through, cancel mine. Wait 6 months, she refers me and so on? We both have them at the moment so will have to cancel one to start with and wait six months (shame as these have no fee at all, new ones are fee free for year one only ... but then if we aren't staying, we aren't paying).
I have an Am3x Gold approaching its anniversary so I need to find out if I can gain anything referring her and closing mine.
You can have free supplementary cards anyway so either way you each have the cards still, it is just who has the account in their name. If I get organised I should plan to have the cross over where both accounts are live in December to coincide with ShopSmall
.
Many thanks
