I noticed the multibuy missing couple of days ago savvy. But the offer didn't end, they were just taken out of it.

There is still a 2 for £2 birds eye multi on with two other things in it.

It seems likely to me that the Dippers would have been showing straight price on a.com on the last day they were in the offer and probably would have glitched if bought instore on that day or could have been a trigger to either of the items that continue on the offer (worthwhile if there were any good comps. against M). I think the problem is we don't see the offer itself ending as it is continuing on some items; it hardly matters now anyway.

After an RTC clearout (did they ever fully clear out?:rotfl:) on old 42 pack in M at £1, prices for other packs, including 12 for same £1, have seemed hellishly expensive. Eventually I had to buy them on the mbuy last time due to having almost nothing (nio substantive meal part of food) in the freezer. I mixed and matched with Chicken Fingers then, and did well - managing to pick a pack of Dippers that turned out to have 13 in the pack:whistle:. It wasn't much use sadly, as there was hardly any point leaving a single dipper in the pack as I only discovered the extra one when preparing the meal - I wasn't planning on buying any more so two of us just had 6 and a half each instead of six. I have again got desperate, now towards the end of the APG, as very little once again in the freezer and thought I could just use an APG to buy 2 for £2, one of each, again until I saw A had effectively put the price of that up.

Sadly it seems the Chicken Breast Fillets went up in price in M on Monday and the APG this afternoon already picked up M price of £3.65:(. I should be switching to standard range vs T at £3.50 although I couldn't then be buying the Chicken Dippers on the shop. I do not know if the standard range still work vs T as that was some time ago and I am not up to date with the latest situation - does anyone know if they are still working? However, I notice £3.65x0.9 = £3.285, which I think still makes them best 'normal' price on the market (not talking meat reductions etc.) as still cheaper than Farmfoods 3 for £10 and I noticed Aldi had recently increased to £3.50. I think I still didn't do too badly therefore, even against M at £3.65.

However, I must make some corrections as my OP is inaccurate though - on two matters. Firstly, M haven't attempted to put up my A shopping, it turns out they have actually succeeded. However, I think they did not intend to increase the cost of my shopping elsewhere, so they weren't attempting to do this.

Secondly, the £1.27 price for the Dippers at M is not a full price. It merely looked like a full price to me after I saw that just online (as I wouldn't take a note of such a crazy price instore:rotfl:). However, I notice it is not full price: instead it is "Way down price crunch". From my perspective, it seems to me they may have been £1 - or that may have been at other retailers - and gone up and then not quite gone back down to where they were. I now see yellow labels with £1.27 on them and the "Way down price crunch" logo - with no previous price crossed out on them, so they are not claiming there is a price from which they have been reduced to £1.27. They do sometimes have no previous price when a price has just gone up and nowadays a yellow label seemingly to draw attention to the item and get people to buy it - at the increased price. (I have seen prices on other items on an 'ordinary' white label before, with no attention being drawn, that were lower and the following week the price has gone up and is now on a yellow label, standing out from the shelf.)

What does "Way down price crunch" even mean? Way down compared to what? It may be said to be 'way down' compared to much higher prices on the market currently being charged by competitors. It is cheaper compared to many of thiose and therefore is "way down". However it is not a £1 offer price that I would expect and is higher compared to that. By failing to disclose cheaper prices that are been available elsewhere, including £1 recently at Iceland, M have therefore not been fully truthful. However they haven't told any lie either. No retailer, except under my bizarre totally honest world that does not exist, ever tells us when prices at competitors are cheaper. It seems to me only people on the autism spectrum are inclined to disclose totally honest things with no regard for, or even when they are against, their own interests. M have therefore not broken any rules, even if the price of £1.27 is high to me (with other competitors currently even higher) and seemed to me full price rather than the "Way down price crutch" that, on one view, it is and, on another view, is what M say it is.

I'll end by mentioning that this reply is later than what it should have been and, for this, like any good person, I will blame my tools. I apologise. My computer had been wanting me to restart it so it could do an update. I put this off on a few occasions, trying to delay it, this afternoon as I was here between visits to M and did not have time to wait for it to do its updating and then restart. I had written and was about to post an earlier version of this post early this afternoon - that post was lost and never posted as my computer screen suddenly flashed for a split second and then closed down all the windows I had open:(. I lost the post and didn't have time available to rewrite it before going to M. Then, when I got back, teatime intervened and, after that, I had to go out to A to buy an item equivalent to that I put back earlier and replaced with the Chicken Dippers. This didn't cost me extra as I thought I would use the opportunity to walk (and therefore to some extent was doing RL activities, namely the exercise that I should have been getting for the last few weeks but had fallen by the wayside and of course walking takes me out of here for longer as well so hence my late time back, after everything else has been dealt with). I went to my small A as that's nearest - no point this time trying there midweek though as, the few receipts I saw, they aren't buying enough.

    EDIT:
I realise I should just have apologised for my late reply and left it at that. However, I am unable to do so without adding the explanation as to why it is late, which then reads like an excuse and, from the perspective of 'most' people, detracts from the apology and means the apology cannot be genuine. It seems I am giving an apology then making excuses. However, I do not work like this. The apology is genuine and there is no hidden agenda behind it. I am simply explaining afterwards the truth of what actually happened so you can understand why the reply was late. I get that I don't quite work in the way that most other people do on this, but I hope, with the explanation of the reply's lateness, you understand. I know you good people on here will! (I'm also trying to cover all bases and cater for every eventuality by thinking I might be misunderstood so trying to explain so that any misunderstanding does not arise in the first place. I see that the problem with this is that - (a) people who misunderstand will get bored and not read this explanation; and (b) anyone that reads it will already understand. I can but try:rotfl::rotfl:.)

There's also a new Muller Light flavour, Banoffee Pie, which has appeared in place of Cherry Bakewell Light. It shows a picture of the Banoffee Pie with the description of 'Cherry Bakewell Flavour' currently showing unavailable for me on asda dotcom.

Unfortunately the Muller Light Banoffee Pie flavour is now showing in the 8 for £4.00 offer :(

After 18 months of ignoring me the Argos tester people have finally remembered me ! I am in Madeira at the moment but in the last 10 days I have had 2 offers from them - I replied too late to the first one but have apparently got the second one (mattress topper).

Can anyone please tell me how long it usually takes for delivery - they seem a bit vague in their email ?
