  • Thank you, I've done the same although I think I may have to add some ingredients. One chicken fillet between two  my £8.40 has tracked but not my £3 and I definitely activated it.

    Good morning.

I put an order through TCB today and had forgotten to activate my £3. :o

Should I hand in my Elite badge? :o

  • Beetroot in Jelly
2lbs beetroot, ½ pint white vinegar, 6 cloves, 6 peppercorns, 1 bay leaf, half pk raspberry jelly. Guess you could use blackcurrant as well.

    Method
Wash beetroot, trim stalks to 1 inch long. Do not cut skin or roots.
Cook until tender, boil, roast or microwave.
Cool slightly, rub off skin and trim ends.
Dice into small pieces and pack tightly into jars.
Place vinegar & spices in saucepan and cover. Boil, then simmer for 10 mins. Strain & discard spices.
Pour onto jelly and dissolve completely. Cool but do not let it set.
Pour over beetroot, completely covering. Allow to set.
Cover with waxed disc and put lid on jar.

If you make again you may adjust the amount of jelly to get the right consistency, it may be worth using a bit more first time as you don't want it runny.:)

but if you get for asda v Morrisons, would they compare? and if so how much would they work out buying form asda?

Sweet tubs (Celebratioms/Quality Street RTC) are on offer in T from tomorrow on 2 for £7. If they appear on the apg then 2 for £6.30 (.plus fillers) is probably as good as we will see this year, before the apg shuts?

May just be the Heroes that compare because of the weight differences.

When did the 3 for £2 start in M's. M's is a bit hit and miss but I guess the best chance to see if it compares would be if the offer has already been around for a day or 2. Im sure savvy or someone else can tell us more.

if it compares, if it picks up the multi. 66p - 10% = 59.4p each. morrisons comps are iffy at the best of times.
