Did anyone else take up the Amazon windfall offer on VC?

Was I the only one who did not see anywhere that you had to upload the receipt within 6 hours? :mad:.

There was no mention of this in the activation email - it said to keep your receipt safe.

I am very annoyed with them and with myself for falling for it - it was an online purchase, from an online site - why would I need to upload a receipt? The items haven’t even arrived yet to take a photo of the receipt, which is what the instruction said - if it said a screenshot or photo of the order it would have been clearer, together with an instruction to upload the order immediately..

I uploaded the receipt on the amazon site. They acknowledged they had received the receipt. And er yes it was obvious you had to upload a receipt. Sorry. Think it said it just after one registered the offer. Cant remember, but I know it was obvious and was surprised as dont normally have to do that.
Perhaps try uploading the receipt from the amazon site and see what happens.

I have dropped my phone (no case) about 100 times onto concrete without it breaking but finally I did it again a few weeks ago and managed a tiny crack on one corenr of the screen thus meaning I could claim on the Nationwide insurance. They have only offered me 100 quid...but then when I was digging through the paperwork I found that it was 5 years old and after cashback by redemption had cost £68 including 2 years of airtime. Sadly such seals are no longer available for top of the range android handsets so the replacement will be sub100 chinese special from bang good or similar.
