I used half a pack in a slow cooker chilli, 2 tins kidney beans, 2 Tom's, onion, green pepper, mushrooms and hot chilli mix.
Then same again with the other half.
Was really nice and easy. ;)

Might be a reason to open the slow cooker I bought a few years ago. :o :rotfl:

It's only a basic one I got reduced, I thought one of the girls might like it for uni but neither of them did so it has to be at least 6 years it's been stashed away now, might not even work.

I have never had a problem with ej hand luggage. I always book an up front/xlegroom seat so are first on, so don't know if that makes a difference, with those seats you can take two pieces of hand luggage. Now if it was rair that would be a different ball game,:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We flew with them on Monday from Bristol to Funchal and I very carefully packed our hand luggage so that it matched the size they quote to guarantee that you can take it in the cabin even when I put my shoulder bag inside one of them. We were told that the slightly larger sizes they quote are allowed but if the plane is full they may make you put them in the hold. Last time we flew with them they were VERY strict and lots of people had trouble because they had a small case on wheels that was the right size but were packed to bursting - and they were told they had to put laptops, handbags etc inside as well but there was no room.

This time it was totally laid back, they didn't even look at the hand luggage and many people had several bags each. So I think it's a bit of a gamble - it's a pain in the arris if they are difficult at the gate.

EasyJet weren't very strict when I last used them. I even put my handbag inside my hand luggage as the rules state you have to. However I was the only person in the queue who did so. The guy at the gate asked in a loud voice can all handbags be placed inside hand luggage and not one person did so !!! I was quite annoyed as I'd struggled to follow the rules and no one else had bothered
Thanks very much for your replies, think I will risk taking the case, and hope we have friendly check in guys/gals.
If the worst happen and we have to pay, after DH has huffed and puffed for a little while, it will all be fine and we will get on with our holiday :D

    Did a Tassimo order tonight.
11 packs for £24 ish with £2.75 Q and perhaps the £2.50 bonus which will probably be declined.

In S today they had the double metal pod holders reduced to £5 something.
Did consider buying one but short of counter space.

On a mission now, remembered I have some gluten free chilli mixes I picked from Sainsbobs for 20p while ago, maybe that would go well with the meat free mince.

I might even still have couple of 10p homepride chilli cans, I hate to think how old they are now. :o

Mr TS has been asking me to do another inventory, don't know if anyone remembers he got me to do a card system years ago for the old larder and stash in the old bathroom. I am resisting at the moment. It would take me a month of sundays.
