These were the Wi-fi ones to use with the likes of Alexa. Have a check on screwfix and Sainsburys as everywhere is selling off their GU10 halogen lights as they are being outlawed, think they range from 20p to 80p.
We certainly couldn't afford the leccy to run halogen bulbs
Have been for another free carvery, offer has changed though, now need to buy a drink too. Just noticed this isa Mitchell and Butler owned franchise. Means i can use my discounted GC from Quidco along with my AA card discount of 20% . Also noted breakfast cheaper than at Harvester. £4.49 excluding coffee. So after AA £3.59 for unlimited breakfast, not too bad,b will try it out and see what it is like. Mine attached to a Travelodge so possible cheap trips away as unlimited breakfast would do until evening.

    Just hopeless :rotfl:
We had the carvery and thought it was disgusting and the pizza poor value.

I know we all like a freebie for writing the odd review of test items :)

Par for the course for Stonehouse. They're reviews are appalling just about everywhere. Poor quality, dirty establishments serving poor quality food. Even it is free it's just not worth wasting your time with. They really are at the low end of the restaurant/pub chains.

TM do you know much about Hull? I was wondering does anyone know the nearest nice hotel to The Lawns?

Di the Lawns is in Cottingham just outside Hull if you google that you will find a Mercure Hull Grange Park, Lazaats and The toll Cottage looks nearby. Ive not stayed in any of them so don't know what there like, Sunshinemummy may know more.

I was just coming on to suggest SSM, she helped me out when I was looking for something near there before. See, told ya she would have her uses, no matter what everyone else said about her :p
