I have also seen some of these items on RTC:

With autumn starting, it is now definitely time to look at summer items:money:. Avoid autumn. Look at every season except autumn, until winter, then you should be looking at every season except winter.0 -

It’s a right pain having to change my linkings though, virgin, lner, ebay, mymail, etc. I have lost my loyalty and the standard of offers on my nectar, and nothing they can do about that. Initially they gave me 2000 nectar points but have since given me another 1000, which I don’t think anywhere matches my loss and the inconvenience. I have 5 coupons for £4 off £40 spend at Sainsbury’s linked to my old account that I have lost out on, and Sainsbury’s couldn’t care less. It’s time Sainsbury’s and nectar got their act together and secured the system that seems so open to fraud.
ETA not that I was ever likely to spend £40 at Sainsbury’s inflated prices!
I never really thought about all the baggage that goes with nectar if you lose your points.
What a pain Shirley:o
I've used a boatload of vouchers today in S alongside a conditional spend and they were all taken without any problem:T:T:T
I've just gone to open an account for Oswald on SSM:rotfl: but some of the better coupons have already disappeared.happy with what I have though. My stash is looking a little healthier:)
Particularly happy to get the Fairy Platinum dishwasher tabs down to £1 using both the SSM voucher and the one that came the other week with the £1 sample.:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Savvybuyer wrote: »Interesting, wondered if the whole thing was ending with it being timed at the end of the month. The idea being that people can't log in so prevents people claiming vouchers and in effect the scheme ends. If it does end, it may end quietly this way. I suspect I'm thinking a conspiracy theory however.
I've claimed all the remaining vouchers I have just in case, as it was also convenient to use an account at the end of the month, except for one that I claimed in the early hours of this month (a minute or so after the month would have ticked over at 1am). On the last set of vouchers, yesterday evening, I did get "the tech wizards are busy" (or whatever the actual message is):eek: and just tried logging in several times, hoping that it would not lock the account completely on several unsuccessful attempts and then stop the password being used, but it did let me in on about the fifth attempt. I got the tech wizards message on the attempt this morning - again, I made several attempts to log in (this was on Firefox) and it did let me in and produced the voucher after a few attempts. So maybe try again if it gives the message. Or try Chrome. Until the whole system locks:rotfl:.
Fwiw, I will be spending the vouchers, some of them, today and much easier, I think, when they are produced and I have expiry date near end of September on vouchers in my hand - so, just in case the entire APG gets taken offline, I still have the vouchers. I'll be seeing if I can get some more receipts this afternoon (Saturday, usually one of the best two days) and, when I get back, if they work, they work and if, for whatever reason, they are stopping the APG in accordance with the rumours (that may be completely wrong) and it doesn't work, then I haven't lost anything I would not have got. The trouble is, if this eventually does end, we are bound to be left with some voucher to spend that then can't get another voucher as the scheme would be over by the time we tried to claim - so there's no way of going out big with a bang as - unless they introduce some other method - we wouldn't be able to get another voucher off the final voucher we use just before the thing closes.
I was coming to the end of my outstanding vouchers anyway as there have been very few receipts I have had of late. The trouble is that, on most of my essential items, A can be quite expensive and there is no equivalent to compare to at a competitor. For example, I can't find any cheap potatoes in A and I am buying, and rebuying, from Home Bargains, where I am continuing to get the £1 apples packs as again, A's, even against T at 88p, still seems to be quite expensive to me with fewer apples (and of course a comparison against T requires seven additional items, which I often don't have, and money to be spent on those to be able to get 10p back off the apples so just better to buy the single item I need elsewhere). I also can't find any frozen pies at A except at expensive £2 prices and still expensive mbuys. I am therefore buying Minced Beef & Onion from M at £1 and Chicken from T or S at £1. The APGs are like cash, but it's no good using them on expensive items at A (that don't have comparisons to much cheaper), paying A's own prices and then having less in vouchers to spend and then having to pay cash:eek: to A. So I'm paying cash to elsewhere:wall: but that is leaving me to buy items that are actually good value (often only via the APG:wall:) at A - A is such an expensive supermarket! - and then having vouchers at A and buying some items elsewhere and in total, whether it's vouchers or cash, it's all the same pot and isn't being wasted on either part of it.
Other places are capable of being very expensive too. M can be very expensive on items that are not on offer or reduction and T and S are expensive or capable of being too. When I go to Aldi/Lidl these days, I am always seeing items and thinking how expensive Aldi and Lidl are, on nearly every item except the few that I am buying. They are - or can be - apples have gone up through the roof and the "Essentials" (perhaps equivalent to value, or supposed value) now more expensive than ones that are on offer there this week - but most weeks they have not had ones on offer and just had the expensive ones.
Aldi and Lidl - such expensive places to shop:eek:!
:rotfl::rotfl:
I do - I find lots of things there, like every supermarket, that I think are really pricey and don't know why some or many people, never clear about exactly how many, seem to have the idea that they are discounters. I have no view on the matter:rotfl:. As usual, I am impartial and, supposedly:laugh:, objective and therefore don't subscribe to any assumption that they are, or are not, discounters, which I think is probably just a perception that they are, it's good for the shops to create that perception as perception and not reality is everything. If people think you are discoutners, they will buy from you and will think they are saving money and feel good, when in fact - it seems to me anyway, whether or not it is factually correct:rotfl: - the prices are much the same as everywhere else, except on a few things on which there are offers that week. There are some products that are cheaper at Aldi/Lidl though and leaving the M products off the M list after discovering that, at M, or A vs all major supermarkets, they are still more expensive than Aldi or Lidl.
On your first point here Savvy ....my take on it is that if it all ends tomorrow we would have some notice. Surely they couldn't stop it instantly without giving notice?
I haven't printed any extra out yet.
