Spring and Autumn are my favourite months......

Well done from abstaining from the demon drink.......I like a drink in summer but not so fussed during the colder months of the year...:D.

Tough luck on the first as we went straight from winter to summer this year. As for the second, it was bit autumnal on Saturday and seems to have been turning that way; however there is not much rain in the forecast for the next week and temperatures may go back up (obviously nothing heatwave, but to a nice-enough 20 degrees). I hope we still hang on to summer for a bit.

Christmas is surely starting later this week, before we even get to Hallowe'en. It's been a three-month ceremony now for the last several years, have you not noticed? I shall be removing all Christmas-themed items from the list:rotfl:. Not that I don't like Christmas (by which I mean proper Christmas, not the three-month:( build up) but, as I was reading on another website, by the time we get to 25th December, it no longer feels like Christmas Day because the season has been dragged out for so long. It's in the interests of sellers to make the selling opportunities, trying to get us to part with our money, last for as long as possible. I hope Christmas Day does feel like Christmas Day, at least it's one day when 'nothing happens' (in other words a great deal happens but obviously none of the usual hectic weekday stuff).

    Good morning all, happy Tuesday.
  • Good morning, I'm looking forward to my fizz deliveries today, let's hope there's some decent ones in there.
Has anyone else ordered mystery cases? It's been a long time since I've had any I'd say well over a year and tbh they were a load of rubbish the last time, in three cases I had about 9 bottles of sherry in fact I thought they had all gone but I found another one the other day when I was looking for some washing up liquid.

Go cat I hope you get news of your appointment asap this week and then you can start making your plans

    Have a nice day

  • Good morning all, cool and grey here. Amazed at how much rain we seem to have had whilst we were away, the lawns are about 50% green!
