Mr Barbie gone in CBB house he :eek:0

I was thinking that.
But I have strict instructions after my investigation only 1 unit of alcohol at a time. That's not even one glass of my favourite fizz.
I'm joining bubb's club, I think it's hers anyway.I have a sliding hiatus hernia. At least I finally have an answer...and I don't remember a thing, after them sticking some cotton wool up one nostril until they said it was done. :T
Can you not just have a normal hernia like everyone else?

Is it unusual to be 11 minutes into the BBC news and they are still paying tributes to Aretha?
I'm not diminishing her life or death but there's so much more "news" going on.To do is to be. Rousseau

I am.
I was so nervous I cried before and apparently according to my notes "this lady was tearful afterwards"
I thought I was pretty cheerful once I knew what was going on again. :rotfl:0 -
Pushed my (adult) children into taking over their own mobile phone contracts. Feels like a pressure off me.
I remember checking our bank statement one month and son's mobile bill was £68!
Should have been £10.50.
I went mad. :mad::rotfl:
He then did it again a couple of months later.
Made him pay that one then put a cap on his contract. Blooming girlfriends.
I remember when my mum put a lock on our dial phone, the metal key operated thing attached to number 1, to stop me from phoning Dial a disc.:rotfl:
I feel ancient.
Night all, quick catch up before bed.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
No wonder people are not buying C&B Winter Veg. Soup! I was nearly ready to prepare a shop and go out, but...
I decided to do the workings out first. £1.07 times 4 = £4.28. Versus M Any 4 for £3.00 = £4.28-£3.00+30p = £1.58 APG from £3 spend in the first place. £3.00-£1.58 = £1.42. Divided by 4 = 35.5p each:eek:!
_pale_Buying SP Veg. Soup would be cheaper. (I do not know whether that would compare against M's 24p - it vanished recently from M for several weeks. Although it is now back, it is no longer at some stores that now have just Chicken and Tomato and some stores that do have Vegetable have yet to have their SEL for it back. SP Tomato Soup does ordinarily compare against M 29p vs 24p. I only say that as technically I haven't checked it on the actual APG on whatever is the current price collection data. It has worked numerous times before though. I think there has been an inflationary price increase on the Heinz Beans/Spaghetti Sausage etc. now - last glitch was 17p I think but this one is more like 25p? A 47% increase! Something like. I think I got used to the last A mbuy ending being 5 for £3, but this current ending one is a less favourable 4 for £3 so, although it ties with M's offer (4 for...), it doesn't quite work as well. In fact, did we not use Heinz Lentil & Bacon back in the ages ago as invisible so had an extra soup tin for the £1.42 price, which makes all the difference. Current price vs 4 for £3 on Winter Veg., just four tins in total, is worse. I am staying in:rotfl:!)
On the Spag. Saus./Ravioli (the only two I like from the offer), I decided it would work out slightly better - a few pence per can - buying 9 Spaghetti Sausages and 1 Ravioli tin to compare against the W mbuy, even if paying for one of the tins at full price. The W mbuy is cheaper to the extent that it does offset the loss of buying one tin at straight £1:eek:. Unless I have my workings out incorrect and have ended up paying more:o. Way to go - instead of buying just three tins (and comparing against T/M), buy an extra seven for a saving of a few pence each:wall:! I should of course have bought 15 total - however I only wanted one tin of Ravioli and won't use 5 and we do need more than 3 or 6 Spag.Saus. tins. I may as well have the Ravioli for 54p (straight 10% off W's mbuy price) to add to the Spag.Saus. and make W price best comp. This is not normally like me - I don't normally like to do this trading-off of paying more on one item in order to get another cheaper. Call me strange, but I just prefer to get everything cheaper! Don't like to "overpay" on one thing to get something cheaper - as that loses some of the saving I would be making on that if everything were cheaper. However, this time, this one worked for me - I didn't have the outlay in the first place to buy fifteen cans, could not have bought many further Spag Sausages that I would have liked if buying 15 tins, would have to have been Ravioli I wouldn't use so just got one of those (as I do use the very rare tin).
I suppose Ravioli counted as an extra item; otherwise to use it and not get 9 Spag.Saus. tins, I'd have had to reduce Spag. Saus tins to 8 (not nearly enough!) and then 8+1 vs expensive T/M mbuys.0 -

A lot of my DDs' friends had contract phones, I'm afraid I was the mean mum who made them stay on PAYG until they were old enough to sign up for a contract themselves.
They used to have new phone for xmas/birthdays etc and then have to top it up themselves with pocket money etc. Very rarely I used to top up for them if they were going away or might have needed to contact me.
They did learn to not eat up the credit quickly. DD3 did lose all her credit once after signing up to some kids thing online putting her phone number in, but at least it was realised straight away and if it had been on contract it would have been a very big bill rather than just under the tenner she lost.0
