  • Well the first rains since May finally arrived. I've never seen a beach empty so quickly :rotfl:

I watched the shower come across the sea and then hit land and it looked like a thousand ants running for cover :D

Then six minutes later, the briefest of light showers had gone. That was it, 6 mins followed by a couple of hours of grey clouds and now the sun is trying to make a come back.

Normal ops resumed, temp back to 23 :)

Also a huge thank you :T to the OPs who found the Tesco mag free drink offer - our store had a big crate of magazines and even more exciting they were the correct ones, not ones from 2 months ago! The mags were not in an obvious place so at least there were loads left and we got our magazines

Very slow service in the caf! but at least we came away with a gorgeous mango cooler and OH had the popcorn toffee version

I've got my free iced drink from Neros to use up by the 31st - not in the same town as the Tesco so by the time we have gone from one to the other and done shopping inbetween we will be ready for another drink:)

Can I also add my thanks,

I had a berry cooler today ( well 1 and 2/3 actually, as girl made up too much, and she asked if I wanted the rest to take away with me :D) Very nice it was too, anyone know how much sugar is in them ?

As mhoc said it took her a bit of time to make it, glad there were only 2 other people in the cafe.

picked up another 6 magazines on my way out.

Looks like we are having round 2 tonight

Last night thunder and lightening and some heavy rain, same again to tonight but it has gone really dark and the lightening is much better :D:D:D
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

We have the opposite problem loads of 10 m&bs and no 20 cafe rouge left. C red for 4 with onetwo cost only one 20 droid this lunch time.

That is a shame - I have the opposite challenge as Little Anons are getting fed up with Bella I and are not into Las Ig menu :(.

I think we have had more not made by us meals in the last week than the dks have had in their life up to now. Hopefully one swap worked even if the other failed for no know reason.
    I think....

I am assuming that it is only a Tesco cafe. Our is a Costa franchise
