  • Good morning......Well, it finally rained around 5 o'clock this morning....I got up to watch it:D...It was heavy and I do like listening to the thunder....Only problem is.....It didn't last long...Managed one half barrel of water for the garden...Probably use that in one go to water the tomatoes....

Now its warm and sticky.......I will have to do another rain dance....I want a deluge please...:D

Still not rained here since 24th May, but I believe today is the day when that will change, sometime late this afternoon is the forecast for it.

At least the car will get a clean, amazing how dirty/dusty they get in the sun.

It is one of those great big noisy white boxes with a pipe to stick out the window, bought about 15 years ago when I had money rather than kids and been in the shed since we moved house 8 years ago until Wednesday.

Same here but it almost looks as if we could miss out today with the rain going N and E of us then a few drops on Sunday and back to dry :(

Please carry on and do the dance, along with me.

My dad had a bad attack last night, couldnt breath, had to call the ambulance out. This weather is really not helping his lung condition at all.

Please dance, dance dance, he needs it to cool down now.

    This is getting quite annoying.

Our travel agent friend has his annual garden party on Sunday.

The weather has been glorious for weeks, months, on end.

The forecast for Sunday is atrocious!

This would definitely happen to us.

    Morning Elite

It!!!8217;s been raining here since the earlier hours of this morning (though I!!!8217;m not complaining;) ) which means I won!!!8217;t have to water my pots or vegetable patch :T:j:j

Could someone please explain the sweet Sunday cinema tickets please
    :A
    Tia

Promo packs of mars chcoolate products are worth 2 or 5 stars. Collect 10 stars and claim a free cinema ticket valid on a Sunday only

The smaller packs are worth 2 stars and regularly £1 so you can get 5 bags and a ticket for £5. The share bags are worth 5 stars and regularly £1.50 so you get 2 larger packs and a cinema ticket for £3

Earliest you can claim a ticket is 13/8 which is a monday so earliest showing you can go to is 19/8

You have to book your tickets by 31/10/18 but if your cinema has any advance booking options you can book for showings in november/December

It's 2 claims per acccount (email address)

Nothing needs to be posted away, no receipts need to uploaded. It's a really easy process
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
