Afternoon all - we have been AWOL for the weekend - 197 miles and a 4 hour drive to see Eldest child and his Gf in East Angla - so parched and dry on their lawns, even worse than us on the west coast

Has anyone used Costa evouchers and if so have you had any difficulties?
I used a £3 one on Friday for a medium americano for £3.29 but they said they could not accept it as the till could not take part cash and part voucher but I could have a small americano £2.99. That was fair enough so I had a small americano. Except they gave us a medium anyway
Today though in the same store they just refused point blank as they said their store didnt accept them! I didnt argue the case even though I had my Friday receipt with me.
I have messaged them through FB but I am not expecting anything more than a standard reply
Our lawn is like Hay i am in the east:D

BH nice to see you :D well done on your changes:T:T

PD nice to see you too, hope you are ok?

WE went for BT Broadband a few months ago and pocketed 400 quid of cashback and mastercard and then of course they put their prices up (they just can't help themselves) so we have a get out of contract free (I did mention this at the time to someone who decided not to go to BT).

Now I need to choose between now broadband £13.50pm after cashback for 36, plusnet 18:50 for 72 or virgin 19:50 for 100 - thoughts, is 36 enough?
I would check out sites that can tell you what you can actually expect in speed, 36 should be plenty if that is what you will get. It does depend on how many people are using it and for what purposes too,

36 should be plenty, I have sometimes measured ours at 3 when I thought it was going a bit slow, but it was still perfectly usable.

We have Virgin 100, phone with free weekend calls and the player bundle on TV for £19 a month, thought that was a bit of a bargain :D

    Good afternoon Elite.
    Kettle's on.......

In the event I have £10/£20 codes left at month end, did someone say Toby and Bella do take out alcohol? I know this would be expensive but would rather have something than waste the voucher (that I didn't pay anything for but, well, you know!)

I have enquired at Bella about fizzy drinks and cider, they said they do cans of fizzy drink lemon/orange/pomegranate not sure of other flavours for £2.80 and two types of plain cider for £4.70/£5.00 each.

I don’t know if their prices are the same across the country.
