And cooked meats, pasta and rice?

Yes, I usually cook from scratch but even curry powder has garlic, he can't have garlic, so looking at mixing my own:o

Lunches should be ok.......will he be ok with protein and salad?

    Can he have potatoes?

Lunches has been wraps, cooked meet salad leaves avocado , manchego cheese and ham, was thinking maybe peanut butter for moisture?, I can do the usual casseroles with beef, no stock cube though, roast chicken etc, but we ate a lot of curry and pasta meals both have tomatoes and garlic so need to supplement my recipe list for those.:)

He cannot have peas or beans so think hummus is out, would need to check , but they all have garlic in so would need to make my own, I made mayo the other day, it was yuk, but then I don't like olive oil and that what I used :o, tomatoes are just out I don't know what her reasoning were he came home with a list of things to cut out.

Good evening, quite isn't it?, as it's quiet I wonder if I can ask for some ideas, my dh visited an allergist and has to stop, yeast ,cows milk ,sugar ,tomatoes ,peas ,broccoli ,beetroot all brewed condiments and strawberries and peaches with some other things which he doesn't eat anyway, ie red wine, cooking is a nightmare and he has a packed lunch any recipe ideas welcome:D[/QUOTE

Hi. Sounds like a difficult task in front of you. I don’t have any ideas but I know there there are food forums. Two of the GC have allergies which cause anaflaxis so DD has to be be very careful. It did become a way of life and mostly they all ate “safe” food

You could check out the free from aisles just now as they may offer some ideas short term. They are usually expensive but with more knowledge about what is suitable you should be able to find alternatives later on

Thank you mrs mac, I would say with a little tweaking 50% of my cooking is ok, it's the little things like no soya sauce, and no yeast it's amazing what yeast is in!!, and garlic which is easier except for made things like green curry paste, and no oxo:eek:, he's only to stick to it for 4 weeks and then can re introduce one thing at a time , goats milk is now his choice :rotfl:

With 10 days to go we are cutting it fine for using up the AP vouchers .

Where is the best value for Sunday on the £10 vouchers please?

Still "a few" £20 to use up - who would have thought we would struggle with the deadline :o.

Fortunately we are off on holiday in the UK so will be eating out a bit :).

    Many thanks

WE got a 25% off sizzling voucher last week so tha tsort of helped but still have about £100 of the £10s left.

Also a fair few Gs but the kids will have Gs for lunch first week of summer hols as a treat...and then once we are into August I will be back to packed lunches - after 3 months of Grgs that will be a treat too.

11:30 I noticed that the 150 happy downs had disappeared off QCS today so off to Mr T to but 16 2 x 4 x 2 - shame we don't like them and they are not ideal for gifting or the food bank. Our 14 yo DD says they would be ideal for her to gift to friends but I think that might end up coming back on us....
    I think....
