I have to be truthful, I did hesitate before buying it.
However......
I'm doing a spag Bol with it tonight so adding fresh basil,garlic. Sun dried tomato paste etc.
So unless it has a nasty underlying taste, I think it should be ok. I often do a veggie lasagne with red lentils which is tasty so I'm hopeful.
