Morning all
Jasmine doesn't wear a collar either. She was quite happy in one when we first got her but as soon as she started going outside she lost them every couple of days and also learnt to get them off herself inside (quick release) so we gave up. She is microchipped, but obviously that's only any use if anyone scans her.0 -
Asbo cat wont wear a collar either. I let her out with one once and she came back without it, I tried again with another one and she was going bananas trying to get it off so I gave up
About six months after she lost her original collar, she came back with it in her mouth as a present for me :rotfl: :rotfl:
She is chipped. She rarely ventures further than the back garden at the moment and in the winter she will only go out to do her business and is straight back in again :rotfl: Funny creatures arent they!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Good morning all, actually coolish and cloudy here at the moment.
Got excited yesterday, dark clouds came over when I was out. Problem is they kept going
What amazes me is I haven't once watered the grape vine and it is thriving, the grapes are developing really well, must be some deep roots there. That said the raspberries are doing fine too, although the raspberries are tiny compared to previous years.
I am keeping the tomatoes watered, they are developing nicely too,What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Martin Lewis is a bit slow off the mark. He's been banging on recently about his appearance on breakfast tv "going viral" when he spoke about the cost of own brand medicines.

Both my grapevine and raspberries are thriving despite the apparent neglect they are currently going through - the grapevine gets a watering can full once a week and the raspberries probably about the same and i have never had a such a bumper crop! My grapevine has gone crazyI need to give it a good haircut in the next couple of days
Just hope the grapes are ready before i leave the site at the end of SeptemberI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I remember it well, thanks.
I did a similar thing with tinned fish in T.
T own brand salmon and John West had the same fish factory number on the tin and was over a £1 cheaper, of course it didn't go down very well with mum, who wanted the branded version.
Morning peeps.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
Our cats are also collar less - we did at one time have their details engraved onto metal discs but they just lost the collars - there are fields behind us and they could be anywhere ...
Treacle at one time did have a red sparkly collar. One morning I was talking to a neighbour and she suddenly stopped and pointed at Treacle slinking past - "cat with the red collar" she said - turned out that Treacle had been visiting her and finishing off her cats dinners - very embarrassing.
Also at one time we had a very ugly thin cat walking through so after a while we wondered if it was a stray. Firstly though we had to see if it had an owner so from the vets I got one of those white paper collars - on it you write your phone number and a message "please can you let me know if this is your cat"
And someone did ring up - turned out it was the cat of some people living in a rental house at the bottom of the street so it was no wonder we didn't recognize it.
Next day it showed up again with a snazzy collar and a metal disc with the owners details and phone number as if the owner thought we were laying claim to it!“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
