It would also be useful for anyone getting £5s from marks

It's definitely still 20%. 20% of £5 is £1. However 20% of £6 would be £1.20, which would make the shop £4.80 excluding VAT. I hope that makes sense! And I also hope I haven't got it very wrong ;-).
In the Ts&Cs it doesn't say it's £5 excluding VAT so that's probably why your cashback has tracked anyway.0 -
