Even though they say that they have already found and fixed the cause of the breach, we have suspended our use of them pending a full review.
Your data from a New User survey that you will have completed soon after joining CheckoutSmart was included in this breach. We had already deleted this data from Typeform, but unfortunately the backup file involved was taken before this was done.
The personal data included in this breach was:
!!!8226; Email address
!!!8226; Your age band
!!!8226; Your income band
!!!8226; Your sex
No data that is held in our own systems including your password and payment details was involved in this breach in any way.
What should you do?
You should review the passwords that go with the same email address, to ensure they are unique and difficult to guess. As always you should conscious of the possibility of any email being spam or phishing.
We would like to apologise for this data breach by our supplier and we hope that you continue to use our service going forward.
But the 2 sentences that Ive highlighted seem to contradict themselves. Says password were not involved. Then says to review passwords :eek:0 -

Good morning.
Thanks Izzy - I use loads of the Devils Food Cake & the lemon - they are scrummy and so easy. Carrot and ginger is also good. I am not keen on the brownies as they are too greasy.
The ones I am using are BB last Oct 17 from when I had loads of MOC's from a trial I did on them, so can confirm they keep well.0 -

Morning paw sniffers:D
Just catching up from here.
Thank you izzey. I've never tried the tubs of icing.
Do they keep after opening? Unsure I would use a whole on on one cake. Or would I?
At that price they are cheaper than homemade butter icing:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Does anyone do a lot of walking on here? Does the heat affect your feet.
Mine are so sore. Heels especially. Sure I've got some old Ugg boots I could wear today. Or I could just keep my slippers on:rotfl:
Anyone got free Moma porridge on COS.:)To do is to be. Rousseau
