It is nice pippo.....I’m already excited about our grown up Christmas together again.

Mainly centred around food and drink of course:D

I’m going to have a look in Aldi this year for meats. They are doing a £9.99 chateaubriand which I thought might be nice for Christmas Eve :)

Wow, that would be good... a proper all 'growed up' Christmas Eve.

Our DS and (now) DDiL invited us and her parents to their flat for Christmas the first year they were there, I thought they were mad!! but, he (and it was he) organised it so well we could even all go to their local for a pint whilst things were cooking!! I was so proud!

Well playing humbug, im not happy xmas eve is on a Saturday. I enjoy my Saturday evening at my local to enjoy winding down from the week with a bit of peace. It will be crammed and I will get roped into serving and washing glasses instead. (Which I dont mind doing, as it helps out, obvs).

Went back to it and the bath was full of cold water:o

Someone had used all the hot water:o and I had to empty it out:o

    What a waste:o
    I feel your pain!

What is wrong with bringing retro paper ones back? Oh, and to clean, you get a little brush with them. ;)

I looked up paper straws, like we/me used to get in milk bottles at school and the price was ridiculous.
