Netted my Gooseberries.......Blackbirds strip them off......

What a storm last night, we laughed at the Amber warning stating it was from 4pm until 6am as such a lovely day...

5.30pm it was torrential - almost swam to Bingo :o

Haircut this morning - back to a bob so no holiday maintenance :)

It's funny, I only have to net my redcurrants and my blueberries, my gooseberries are left alone, and my raspberries too. Well, apart from when my grandson comes along and stuffs his face with raspberries :D

  • Good morning lovely peoples

My neighbour says I've been putting too much mud in my wheelbarrow at a time, that's why the tyre has shredded :o

She has suggested putting old carpet down after the sand, and before the underlay and pond liner to give extra protection from the sharp flint stones we have in our clay soil. I haven't any old carpet, but I do have a fair amount of laminate flooring leftover from an inside job

It all seems to be getting rather complicated - I shall ponder for a while as off to Ikea now

Have a nice day everyone :A

If that was intentional you deserve to be shot :rotfl::rotfl:

Personally I would imagine the old laminate might fracture, causing the problem you are trying to avoid.

Have you got a carpet shop nearby? We have one that often sells off samples of carpet, you know the ones out of the books? Might be worth a look? Or maybe look on freecycle?
