:o i typed live on my phone then lost where it went. i was going to type lives as in part of your post. then decided to highlight instead.

the pain bit as ive been getting too many price checks also. as most shoppers just believe in the sels. whereas we know better

I just can't do it anymore, at some places (now all of my regular ones) as I can't keep checking things at the SS and they will think something is up. I haven't even been able to do a price check on this item therefore - instead I have two stores displaying the same price and nothing else to indicate that that is now wrong from anywhere else. Best I can do:rotfl:.

One other RTC at least (assuming the Carling Zest at £3 was an RTC, I never saw anything showing that it was) has ended - the Fairy Original WUL 1.35L is now £4 in M. I have £3 unchanged SEL:rotfl: (they never showed the RTC price) in one store and £4 showing in two others (although one of those has a £2 RTC still up on one shelf but an OOS label there as the stock is elsewhere in the store) - product scans at £4 (on SS machine display, with no deduction - I do not trust what they tell me at tills). It seems that the Pomegranate & Honeysuckle version (very slightly different size but 'same' big size if you see what I mean - most people won't see any difference other than they are obviously different flavours but they are very slightly different volumes) is still £2 as full price SEL in one place but seems to be unchanged and £2 RTC SELs in two other places, with an indication of a later start date, leave me thinking it is £2. It seems that the RTC on the Original version ran earlier, for a few weeks, and the product is now back up to full price while the RTC on the Pomegranate version*, which started later and seemed to have overlapped last week, is still on. Whether that is right or wrong:rotfl:.

The point is that clearly though at least one RTC (which hasn't run that long, on this Fairy Original) has ended (assuming my indications of "£2 RTC" in one place in earlier weeks were ever correct).

*Alright - namely Pomegranate & Honeysuckle, just to be pedantic. There is not a straight "Pomegranate" version - that was shorthand: it is Pomegranate & Honeysuckle. Except that my attempt at shorthand has lengthened it even more through this long-winded note:rotfl:.
