That's a shameI'm guessing some of the stuff I find in S is store specific

Absolutely loads of Carling Zest Citrus 12x300ml packs not long after the entrance to my M - in fact almost the first items I saw. Sadly they have arrived with a big offer card (doesn't matter if it's big - they can still be wrongly in place:p) displaying £6.10:(. That could be right, because items can go straight back up after a couple of days, especially if they were on really good price for us that maybe the store doesn't want to maintain. They can just changes prices at will. Although the offer card looks like it's just been placed there, as it is oh so slightly off horizontal and may well simply indeed just have been put there as the product wasn't at my store last time, items can arrive with full price showing until staff later correct it to an offer price and I have had an offer card on an item out at the front of a store changed to full price before when it was still apparently on offer as I found my other stores still showing the offer price. That one, however, there turned out to be two different sizes and the store had put up the price for the full price version even though it had stock of the offer version (very slightly different pack - still 12 per pack but slightly different weight that I suspect almost no-one would notice and, clearly, as only one offer card was up and not two - one for each version - I didn't find any evidence of the staff at my store noticing it).
Unfortunately I can't find whether the real price is now £6.10, though it certainly could be, as I have used all my lives up in this store and had too many items cancelled that I am about to blow my cover if I have any more any time soon. And, as it's my main store and logistically I have to start there these days, I don't want to do that. It's no good to ask at the till as, even if it's still £3, I feel I will most likely be told £6.10 as it's most likely going to be a case of "£6.10 less £3 reduction - clearance item" at the SS and till enquiry retrieves only the base price of £6.10 not the reduced price. Is anyone who has successfully bought it at SS before able to confirm exactly how the pricing appears on the SS machine screen? If it's straight £3 (which I think unlikely) then I might have been told £3 at the till assuming it is still that - however I think it's most likely to have gone up and if I'm told £6.10 I don't know what price it is.
I can only hope to have the product at another store and showing me £6.10 there - but, even if that's so, I still wouldn't know that it was £6.10 just that that was mayble more likely if more than one store is saying the same. Of course, if it's still £3, I should just have bought it if it is displayed £6.10. However, I don't buy things, I just take the prices.
I would say, if you're trying to find this product in M, perhaps not worth bothering trying more stores as it may have gone back up to £6.10. However, it could still be £3. I just don't know:rotfl:. I will just take it off my list when I come to do the update anyway (rightly or wrongly) as I never saw the item at £3 in the first place and, unless I see £3 somewhere else later today, I am taking it that it is now £6.10, whether I am right about that or whether, due to my store's display, I have gone wrongly to full price. If anyone knows any differently, please let me know. I have had an item before that appeared to go onto RTC almost immediately go back to full price (that one was scanned at the SS), so I currently think this product now is £6.10.
I will just have to take the offer card to be correct, unless I see anything else different later. However, I clearly see things differently from many people: whilst I was instore I overheard an older woman who was obviously looking at some Spaghetti tins saying "the Spaghetti is £2.50". I thought "How do you know that? I don't think it is." (Because I think it's actually £2 because I have seen that price elsewhere for what seems to be the item she was referring to. There's always a reason why - I don't just think it's not! In my way of thinking, there is always a logical reason as to why I do or don't do something and, once you know that, I am actually very easy to take advantage of:(:o as what I will or won't do is predictable. Most people seem to operate according to some random whim that is inconsistent and seems impossible to predict.)
People assume that because a price is displayed, the item is that price. I can't always make that assumption - I see a price and think that could be wrong or maybe it's right, I don't know, or I think "I bet that's wrong" if I have seen what seems to be the correct price somewhere else and that isn't the price displayed at this one store. Even if I am assuming a price is correct, because I have seen the same price in multiple places and haven't seen any other price elsewhere, I still sometimes think "maybe it's wrong". Can I even assume that the regular priced items that aren't offers are showing their real price for me? I think, at some stage, I have to take something on trust; otherwise I am just left completely in the dark on everything and not knowing at all whether anything whatsoever is right or wrong. Perhaps I should be in a situation of total lack of knowledge though:rotfl:.
So, I don't know anything at all and I am indecisive.
There is a little more change than my list suggests today. I will highlight a couple of items connected to the baby aisle - Lindam Munchkin Door Stopper Saftey Accessory and Lindam Safety Socket Covers are now, it seems, each 50p RTC.0 -

Thought I'd better pop my head round the door as I've had a few messages yesterday asking if everything is ok. Thank you for thinking of me, I'm fine just had loads going on and also been away for the last couple of weeks. Thank you also for all the birthday wishes yesterday.
I'll try harder to keep upNo idea what, if anything, is glitching at the moment. There were free chicken sausages on my Shopmium page but I haven't been able to find them.

:T:T:T Update on boy and his ball :
SPCO Just been and said it took her at least 6 times of trying to get to speak to boys dad but she finally spoke to him last week :j
Said dad said he cant stop his son from playing on street and she said she knows that but its harassment keep annoying neighbours knocking on doors and going onto their property for ball and throwing things into gardens and at windows.
She also told him when its nice take him to the park and let him play football there .
Also she had posted flyers through letterboxes on that street didn't say what they said .
She asked me if I had any trouble recently so told her about them climbing over once for ball and didn't knock.
She spied lad with ball peeping around the corner when she was talking to me more than once so said she would go and talk to him when she had left me
So hopefully that's it I can relax when I get home.
Well done councillor and SPCO :T:T:T0 -
