    Would the satsumas make marmalade?
Possibly but I did not get loads of them. I got a load of blueberries. In total I got £107 of stuff for less than £7 - or 7p after 3 APG's.

I plan on making jam with raspberries, blackberries and maybe blueberries that I will turn into pulp/jelly & deseed first.

    Well done on the womble.

Has anyone ever made blueberry jam / jelly before? Woopsies was massive glut of satsumas, blueberries, bananas and salad and there was only 3 of us there.

Not made it, but I do know that blueberries are low in pectin, so you would need to add extra or it would not set. I would imagine the normal trick of equal weights sugar and fruit would be fine.

I may add a couple of jars of plum jam that I made as it is like rubber. That might work.

Have to admit I may have added gelatine to jam that refused to set before now.

Well, it worked, so now have some on standby for jam season. Funnily enough since I have had it in stock I have not needed it :D

Well done on the whoopsies TM.

Today in T's I avoided the lambs' kidneys that were reduced to pennies.

Last week I got some, I thought I'd use some for a brunch with bacon etc, and freeze the rest. So I washed them, then I had a divil of a job slicing them and removing the cores, but I plodded on, trying to be careful as too much handling turns them into a squidgy mish-mash. Put some in the pan for breakfast, then consulted the packaging which said they had already been frozen and not to freeze them again, so the rest went into the bin as even I can't eat twelve.

Two chopping boards, messy worktops, blood and bits everywhere - an offal mess for nothing.

For future reference you could have cooked them and then frozen them, they make a half decent pate too!

    I'd definitely move that bench.

I think you will find that it is only the bench that is holding the pillar up...and it is only the pillar that is holding the house up....

Shame the match ruined by Salah injury and the clown goal-keeping.
    I think....

I'm popping in as I know I've not posted much here lately - just to explain I have a lot going on - either that or I'm just not wanting to do anything - and I'm going very slowly on things on here. I still have two posts from last Monday to reply to. I probably never will:rotfl:. I'll see you again sometime - just too busy, or too unmotivated, to post!:D:wave:
