They have been 50p in mine for at least two and a half weeks already - is this because most of the boxes (on both) are BB December 2017? However, whatever the apparent 'shortness' of that date, I have no problem whatsoever as people here will get through those boxes very quick!

TBH I didn’t check the dates Savvy, DH has now finished the fish flavoured all bran so he’s all set for shredded wheat no matter how old it is :o

Also in Morrisons today I got 2 of the reduced Mash Direct crisp veg bakes which are on Q clicksnap for 75p cashback.

When I went to photograph the receipt they are showing as quinoa bakes instead  - so I've taken the pics with the packaging in the background, just incase a real human does the validating and can see I've bought the right item even if the receipt says different and the price on the receipt looks wrong as well.

I've had reduced Mash Direct accepted for cashback before but I think the receipt said Mash Direct so there was no issues.
I had mash direct fries and croquettes, both rtc'd too which were accepted.

I just had an urge to eat some Tomato crisps - and they were fine. I think it is because I got put off by the word "Ketchup" - I don't like Ketchup with my (very rare these days) chips but I do like Tomato in Tomato Soup. Much better than A's Salt & Vinegar Potato Discs, which I thought might be an alternative to Discos, but didn't taste of Vinegar at all - more like Plain - but they were fine as equivalent to Plain crisps as they were better than free for me some months back due to an errant SEL. I think they need to get more acid:eek: into the crisps!

I had thought A were trying to trick me earlier as the Kitchen Towels (which I have not bought before) said "New". I did wonder if my store had some brand new stock on a new BC that might be a fail to appear:(. It also said new longer roll, not that that is worth much and, in my view, they should really be longer still! They were at the correct price, but some other store might have clearly had two different versions at the same price, one of them working and the other a no appear at the moment (until the system switched from the old being no appear to the new appearing), which was not obvious from my store as I picked the only version I found at £4. I need have had no concern however, as my shop was vs M so, of course, it will not fail:

8 items on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda morrisons
    1x ASDA Smart Price Rice Pudding (400g) £0.20 £0.18
    1x ASDA Smart Price Jaffa Cakes (135g) £0.31 N/A
    1x Bernard Matthews Dinosaur Turkey Slices (100g) £0.75 £0.75
    1x ASDA Smartprice Toilet Cleaner Lemon (750ml) £0.27 £0.27
    1x Ritz Bakefuls Sea Salt & Vinegar (5x19g) £1.65 £1.00
    1x Jacob's Original Mini Cheddars (7x25g) £1.65 £1.00
    1x Mr Sheen Leather Wipes (30's [sic:p]) £2.45:j £1.00 Nice high full-price A:D:T.
    1x ASDA Shades Power Towels (4 roll) £4.00 £2.12
1x ASDA Smart Price Milk Chocolate Bar (100g) £0.30 £0.30
Comparison total (compared products only) £11.27 £6.62
    +£4.65 cheaper

And all because the Dinosaur Turkey Roll, that was 50p on an offer in M several years ago, was found to have gone off the offer and back to £1 today. I am therefore beating the price collection - M therefore getting me to shop today. To be fair, I would have done this shop - or prepared one very similar to it - late on in this week (I need to spend something eventually anyway) but have brought it forward from probably this Friday to today.

EDIT: Since when do people write "30s" as, effectively, "thirty's" though? Of course it should not have that errant apostrophe! I agree it would be "thirties" and not "thirtys" though, but without the apostrophe in any event - in effect are they saying it is "thirtie's" or "thirti'es"? Where are they putting that apostrophe? I suppose mine suggests "thirty" with an "s" on the end, but it's not, it's "thirtie" with an "s" as plural but, in either event, without any apostrophe! In my view, "30s" is therefore correct - there is no apostrophe! It just - it doesn't do my head in, but it merely gets me circling the apostrophe, as if with a red pen, in my mind every time.

The Shredded Wheat 12 pack is absolutely fine, and it is cheaper than the regular price of Wheat Shreds in Aldi (there may be the occasional chance, elsewhere, maybe T or M of having damaged packs on cheaper store-specific RTC but I find that very hard to come by of late, effectively Poundstretcher has therefore be cheaper for me). I have moved away from 40 pack Shredded Wheat at £2.50:eek: in M already.

If you buy something at A's and they charge you more than the price on the SEL but didnt realise till one got home, can you still go back and complain and would I be entitled to anything like a £2 gc for instance?
    tia :)

Yes. In fact I think that's the way that most shoppers do it, if they ever realise they have been charged higher than the SEL. It therefore may seem more like a proper claim for a lower price than a contrived one, as it's only us that spot incorrect SELs and then deliberately buy the items.

Yes, you can go back and complain. It's been suggested in other places that some CS people have even used the excuse that someone hasn't left a store before. You can go back - the 'danger' I see is that they may have put the SEL right since, so how can you show it was wrong when you shopped? They may not quibble with what you say. You can always go back and complain. The worst they can do is say "no":rotfl:. As for being "entitled" to a £2 GC, I don't think it is a case of legally entitled to anything but more a matter of goodwill and the policy of Mr A.

I don't know why I didn't think of the Dinosaur Turkey Roll before yesterday, as the offer in M always was due to have ended on 19th November. It was probably because I didn't check my list for my own shopping until yesterday (but as a result of seeing M and compiling my own shopping list).

Meanwhile, as for the fillers list, SP Washing Up Liquid (500ml) - assuming it is any good - may be a good filler vs M - I did see it comparing on the APG, correctly, 40p vs 34p a few weeks ago - sorry it did not come at a time I was posting on here. However, you should be using my M list anyway, on which it has appeared ever since I noticed A had a comparable item some weeks before, as everything on there will always work won't it?:rotfl::rotfl: They have had the item on the APG system for M and there's no reason why it would not continue to work.
