So we are hoping 7 Muller Corners at 68p vs 35p each, plus a Raspberry Doughnut as visible trigger (is better since it itself compares) would be a total of £2.55 back off £4 spend. Or 8 for £1.22. Fifteen and a quarter pence each.

As I would still be paying for them and come back with less in APGs than I had before, although I would also have the Mullers, I am therefore not going to make what would a special journey for them:rotfl:.

I need to remove the Beef Mince from Avs M. I notice it is comparing against T at £1.69 - M is slightly higher and I believe it doesn't compare against M anyway as although it is effectively 20% Fat (which, for 500g of product, means 100g fat:eek::eek:) and in my view ought to compare as similar in use, the description on a.com and the APG says "typically less than" [my emphasis] so it seems it doesn't link up "less than 20%" - typically less than, which suggests, on untypical occasions, it will not be less than - to "20%" in M. It needs moving to Avs T anyway as that seems to be best comp. (I assume W isn't better).

Agree, very little on GJ.
There is president butter though which we like. I am going to wait and see if the price is any better later in the week after the mid week price change in Sainsbury's - its £2 everywhere.
At least if I get it in Waitrose I wont need to do much more real shopping to get to the tenner for free coffee and newspaper.
Even supermarket own brand is now £1.45.

Just back from a quick trip to London and back (we have passes so I have not taken leave of my senses) I do the odd bit of testing of cosmetics so I went in today for some before and after photos of my skin - very glamorous.
But as well as the product I've got to use over the next week we all got goody bags to take home with various products. Mine had a Lancôme item I really wanted worth £30 plus various other bits including brow gels, foundations and powders, about £60 worth in total - some hair stuff which possibly Eldest child might use and some powder and an eyebrow grooming kit which will got to the charity shop - some bits for me and some to share :T

I also went into Zara - I saw a pic of one of their little evening bags which looked gorgeous and instore their range is even better but I resisted the temptation. I am not normally a bag person but these embroidered bags and sequined bags are gorgeous.

Also we had old Oyster cards which still had the deposits on them so I took them to the machine and got them refunded - two lots of £5.10 :T- probably there are millions of these old Oyster cards all over the country, in the back of wardrobes and in old jackets and in man drawers all with £5.10 on them waiting for the next trip to London to be refunded ...

And then I came home and went to neros for hot chocolate and WHSmoth for the free bottled water on 000002 so not a bad day for freebies
