Evening all.
Not bothered catching up except for the last day, cant be harrissed.
Just my 2p's worth about HUKD linkys
I cant see why anyone has problems, instead of linking to the item, if people just put a link to the page on HUKD (where you must have got the other link from anyway) then everything is good.
(On HUKD, just copy/paste the web address of the page you are on)
An example, here is a link to Chatty man. I just linked to the HUKD page
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-tickets-alan-carr-chatty-man-new-ch4-chat-show-june-dates-397638
But say I wanted to post a link to a talktalk deal I can see on there, but copied the link to the actual talktalk apge, you can see there is an affilliat link, so its a no no.

(linky has been massivly changed so I dont get wrong
So as above, just post a link to the HUKD deal...

The address of the page ON ( I'll say it again, ON) the HUKD website should never contain a code, unless you got directed from yet another site to Hukd.
So long as your link starts with https://www.hotukde...etc, you should be fine as a fine thing.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Ah - the diversions :rotfl:!
A good bit of swearing on the BBC News Channel earlier which in my immaturity I always like especially when it should not have gone out - and especially if someone else doesn't like it:rotfl:. Quick, rewind the i-Player to about 7.33/7.35 before some spoilsport removes the segment!
I like how one of the presenters later says he thinks they should apologise but then never actually does so:rotfl:. Especially as I was in another room at the time and missed the whole thing at the time it happened. Only when the presenter mentioned what he thought they should do, did I become aware of anything in the first place.
As for someone at the BBC potentially going ahead and removing it from the repeat service (available now for less than an hour anyway) and being a "spoilsport", they would do that I think because Ofcom views it as a mitigation or resolving a matter. However, despite that, it is still clearly four square within the definition of a "spoilsport":
"A person who behaves in a way that spoils the enjoyment of another person."
Even if they are merely carrying out their job. I note the definition does not provide any such exception that says it no longer applies. It is squarely within the definition, fits it perfectly and totally and therefore my description is thoroughly correct and I rest my case:rotfl:.
Enjoy before the "spoilsports" stop it!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
