Seen a few posts on FB now savvy, and this one on hotukdeals

    https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/all-asda-20p-vegetables-now-free-2919923

    .

Nah, seems they were free in stores that had over-ordered and had a lot on BB 2nd April to get rid of. I was right though with them not being able to sell yesterday! I saw packs with BB 2nd April before Sunday and knew there were likely to be lots around in some places today. Seems I did well to have 10p (and then only on two of the items that had 2nd April stock still left in my store) as there are a number of people reporting they were still 20p in theirs on that hotukdeals link.

In the end, I clean forgot to add the cost of 10p produce when I decided which APG to take with me to spend. Maybe I thought they would be free:rotfl:. In fact, I didn't know about anything being free at the time I went (relatively early on, in order to avoid reduced items being sold out before I got there). I should have added the cost of 20p produce though, expecting that, just in case it was there and then bought two packs instead of one. Instead, my mind was obviously on the sandwich filling that I needed and
    I forgot about everything else.

Would have been no good if I had bought a pack of produce at 10p though - I may as well have paid 20p. Reason: my A has taken the opportunity to increase its petrol by 1p a litre:mad: - so, if I'd filled with 10 litres, there's the 10p gone straight away. I felt they gave with one hand and took with the other. My main M was now the same - increased its petrol by a penny a litre:mad: - but fortunately I did not buy from there. I say "fortunately" as, when returning to the store, I remembered the "no return within one hour" on their car park, not sure if my two visits would have exceeded the total time but they probably would have done, so I had to park elsewhere nearby and then decided not to bother to go back via the petrol station but to get some petrol at the next M anyway. I'm glad I did as second store still had petrol at the old price:rotfl:. Only a couple of miles away as well but obviously not near enough to an Asda to be made to increase its price in tandem!

In the end I managed to find some swedes on BB today at 5p in the second M and that price tempted me enough to buy one. So I bought that instead of one of the swedes that my A had allegedly at 10p. It seems to me I've made the right choice on the fuel and the swede:cool:.

I also visited Aldi and they still had Maris Piper 2.5Kg potatoes at 29p today. I have stocked up - maybe I should have expected it to be reduced but never mind - with three bags which worked out at 78p so got three times the amount of potatoes than M for the price it now seems to expect to be paid on its Wonky Potatoes! The Wonky Potatoes were indeed expensive currently. I saw nothing reduced below what it was before in my Aldi.

    AP/GP question if I may ...

I have been to mands today and bought yellow sticker food reductions. In one store, no issue, left with pence to pay. In the other, I bought over £3 worth of items plus a C0ke and the AP voucher took less than £3 off the total, so I didn't risk burning a c0ke voucher too . Was it the voucher or how the CS processed it?

Has anyone worked out how they work on reduced food please? I have "a few" to use so want to be confident when I shop.

    Many Thanks

if you look at the faq on the voucher it says they cannot be used against disc of 30% or more stuff.its not worked when i tried to use it against a yellow stickered product.:(

I did read that but hadn't twigged that it included yellow label as in my head that was different. It worked in the first store and the items were 75% off? Maybe they overrode the till?

Ah well, will have to work out how to spend them - I am loathe to pay full price and reduce my haul :o.

    Thanks

Yes, I’ve found they don’t work on reduced stickers. I knowingly tried the other day though bought two reduced things and a coke, used the coke ap first, then the £3 course it didn’t work, the sa called someone over and they just put it through manually (so can use ap again).
    Bit of a faf.
I’ve just been using mine on food, not too many left now.

This time, I will write, in capital letters and in bold, the word "Delete" after the items, at least on the Avs M list, that have, or whose equivalents in M have, expired in M. This is because they may still be available for the APG as I think they've not done a price collection in M today. They are to be removed, or crossed out if not deleted, after whenever the APG updates. So that's mentioned here in case people are wondering what it means. It's what I normally cross out on the list, but I am not doing so this time because of possible confusion between that and what was already crossed out and because the current APG from last Wednesday may be staying around for a little longer than usual. Meanwhile the items that will appear in bold are the new items/offers in M and are not to be bought yet! I am a little premature doing a part price collection on a Bank Holiday (although I've been through every grocery aisle of my couple of stores so it's quite comprehensive of what they have!), and - it won't catch some of the wider range - I'm just trying to get my list into shape for the proper collection on Wednesday.

In fact, I seem to have noticed a lot of the new offers in my Ms today but missed everything that was due to have expired yesterday:rotfl::doh:. Therefore, while items with expired dates that are left on the list normally shows that the offer has been extended in M, as everything has been checked and the items have been left on my list rather than being crossed out as they are just waiting for me to find the new date if any and move the item within the list, this time these items will be ones that may have expired in M and I will probably be removing a lot of them later. They are the items that I would have normally gone back into my store to check as missed on my initial check but I didn't bother with that stage today - serves me right for trying to short-cut it. It looks like there are also quite a lot of items to due to expire tomorrow in M so there will be further changes to be made from Wednesday!

I've been using mine on bedding when theres also a 20% off.so the 20% plus £5 & £3 voucher made a double sheet £4,which i find better value than the overpriced food.:)

I've now got DELETE question mark as well as DELETE:rotfl:. The reason is because I have seen the item with full price SEL today but I have not got the number of stores I need in order to be satisfied that the item is off. Therefore, it's one being carried over to the "full" collection on Wednesday.

EDIT: In fact it may well be still on - as I think this item is one that was incorrect full price SEL in my main store last time and the offer had been put on display in one of my further stores. I will hopefully find out next time! Probably right again:p(:rotfl:)! It seems to me I am right (I always am, aren't I?:rotfl::rotfl:) not to be satisfied that it is off. If ever I was satisfied, it would be off! Surely:rotfl:.

Only time I have used one was at a SS till and there was a specific button on the screen called something like 'Enter your android code', which worked on a full price sarnie. M&S sarnie meal deal is 3.50 which does not work at all well with vouchers. £3 gets you one fairly average sarnie :(
    I think....
