All true. Storing correctly will help the wine last better if not for that much longer. Bottles with corks should be horizontal so the cork doesn't dry out. Preferably stored in the dark, but definitely out of sunlight. Storing under the same temperature all year round will also help.

Agreed, hence our winedrobe, a closed cupboard with corked bottles stored horizontally on a rack, other bottles stored in boxes. We daren't store our strawberry horizontally though, unintentionally fizzy so stored in a box that is also in a black plastic bag in case it goes bang. The temperature does not stay as constant as we would like, but it is the best we can do.

We do find our home made wine lasts a lot longer than supermarket brands. Vintage champagne we tend to lay down for a while, non vintage gets drunk a lot quicker than that.

I thought I'd read the mullers were 25p in Ts yesterday? Oh well, must've read wrong but I think the wine worked as expected?

    Asda Tesco
1x Muller Corner Banana Yogurt with Chocolate Flakes (135g) £0.68 £0.68
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Parsnips (500g) £0.20 N/A
1x Muller Corner Toffee Yogurt with Chocolate Hoops (135g) £0.68 £0.68
    1x Muller Corner Peach & Apricot Yogurt (150g) £0.50 £0.68
1x Muller Corner Vanilla Yogurt with Chocolate Digestive Biscuits (135g) £0.50 £0.68
    6x Nederburg 56 Hundred Pinot Grigio (75cl) £35.88 £31.50
2x Muller Corner Strawberry Yogurt with White Chocolate Shortcake Balls (135g) £1.00 £1.36
    2x Muller Corner Red Cherry Yogurt (150g) £1.00 £1.36
    1x Muller Corner Blueberry Yogurt (150g) £0.68 N/A
1x Muller Corner Vanilla Yogurt with Chocolate Balls (135g) £0.68 £0.68

Muller are 12 for £3 (25p each) in Tesco, but the blueberry came back as N/A so only 11 compared at individual price
