I am in week 3 of this nasty flu like virus that's going around - its a really horrible one, completely wiped out. My friend has also got it and is diabetic, causing her to have hypo's, which she never normally has, as very careful.

    Routine blood tests last Wednesday
Call from Doctors, Friday 8am, doctor want's to speak to me, will ring me some time on Friday.
Turns out very low on Folate, need tablets.

Call from doctors yesterday, different doctor want's to speak to me, but in-order to have conversation I need to ring up at 8am today to make a telephone appointment  How stupid is that
Somehow managed to get through on phone and made appointment - still waiting for call back.

we have had a letter come this morning officially discharging teenage GS from the orthopaedic oncology unit in Birmingham, from the initial diagnosis of a tumour/sarcoma in his hip, he now has Myositis ossificans which hopefully will clear up with no invasive treatment. Still awaiting an appointment from local hospital for x-ray to confirm exercise and possibly physio to be the treatment required..:):)

    Great news.

Thank you for all your birthday wishes.

I was having a fabulous day until my friend drove me back from town (would have got soaked cycling) we went past this lorry that had gone off the road and the ambulance crew were doing chest compressions on a youngish looking man :( Will have to keep an eye on the local news to find out what happened.

That is fantastic news, but all that worry over what probably started as a bruise :eek:

I wonder what mishaps will bestow me today?

Sunday broke tooth and filling came out (still no pain :) )

Yesterday on the way home from a carex shop and red warning light come on the car, so diverted to our friendly mechanic, puts car on diagnostic computer, ad blue needed topping up and flushed the system thru- that was £40 gone :( annoying as we have a container full of ad blue waiting to top the car up, DH kept forgetting grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

If you count the red light coming on and the cost as two separate things then that should be your three, or you could just count strangling your OH for not getting around to doing what must be no more than a 5 minute job :rotfl::rotfl:

    Happy birthday Enterprise.
Underperky can you tell me who the moet compares with and how many bottles did you buy? We have a few big birthday celebrations and would love to get some. When I look on Mysupermarket I cant see who it compares to.
    Thanks for the help.
Hugs and best wishes to everyone.
