Seems strange as now £9.50 in Morrison's? Nice one!

I got a Boden voucher too. Wonder if you can use it on sale items...

Got 20gb for 15 month less 85 mastercard less 60 extra cashback as part of my recent sign up = 3pm

Normal packs only 50p in A but these are much better value as dd can just take 2 per day for her packed lunch whereas the normal ones it seems that any day a packet is opened it is finished....

However I said they were 3 for £1 elsewhere, which works out at a better price per pack when buying 3.

50p prices for packets of biscuits are really expensive prices:rotfl:.

In fact, I wasn't greatly impressed by my SP Chocolate Digestive Biscuit Bars that I compared months ago against best price at S - turns out they are more like the biscuits in the luxury biscuit selection that went on 10p clearance in M a year or two ago and for probably twice the amount.

I did find a triple pack of biscuits, one pack equivalent to three packs, that went onto £1 RTC in M several months back - however it failed to make the list as, when I checked, I found T had just been 50p on the same triple pack and had just gone OOS online. So, my £1 RTC for the triple pack was way too dear clearance price again in M and too expensive:rotfl:. However, I've now mentioned 3 for £1 on Oreo somewhere (Heron Foods or Home Bargains, I remember not which) which is the same price as the 'expensive' M 'months-ago' RTC:wall:.

At the moment, standard 44p prices on own label chocolate biscuits seem a better way to go (for the amount the own label packs contain, usually more than the expensive branded items). McVitie's chocolate digestives double pack went up from £1.65 to £2 in M recently - so beware of that £2 label on the shelving in M:rotfl: - the £1.65 wasn't extremely good anyway and at least one version didn't even compare on the APG even when it was.

We don't know that they are £9.50 in M, as that was just the price I imagined they were (after getting SELs showing that price in all my stores).

Admittedly it was a strange one for me to see that the APG has £6 once more, particularly after getting £7 from the Monday store check. Sometimes it seems to go back by one week or pick up an offer price that has no longer applied in M for a while. Perhaps they have half their stores that have put the £6 offer price on the label only after the offer has ended - or maybe were overruled by more £7s last time, when it seemed to me it was £7, even if they still had stores with unchanged then-and-now incorrect £6 price but, some of the stores had by Wednesday now gone to £9.50 as correct new price but some still had now incorrect £7 price on - therefore the £7s that overruled last time had now been split so that the most common price was now incorrect £6, or perhaps two stores each with £6, £7 and £9.50 and lowest price found is taken.

I have found this occasionally recently. I never know which way prices are going - I had one store that showed full price throughout the offer, then found it showing the offer price immediately after the offer had ended. And probably showing full price again by the time the offer goes back on:rotfl:. I reckon it's the staff, who are doing a lot of hard work, that are chasing their tails in M - only getting round to changing the SEL to the offer and then the next day it is off but haven't then got to changing it to full price. So it could be that they were late removing the £6 or had gone back and put an old offer price on the shelf after it no longer applied. Also, the APG seems to collect prices earlier in the day than I do (which obviously has to be staggered throughout the day for me as I check different stores) and the APG sometimes doesn't change to new offer prices immediately. It failed on the LM Vegetable Sausages that had TCB on them until Wednesday - although the system, on Wednesday night, was clearly on Monday - it picked up seeming incorrect £1.99 full price:(. The collectors may have got there a little early before their stores had changed to showing the offer price - unfortunately therefore it did not chime in with TCB. Should have been bought at £1 in M on Monday (assuming I got correct price and my stores were not early in changing SELs), Tuesday or Wednesday and TCB then claimed.

However, thankful on the Villa Maria that they don't check the same stores as me:rotfl: (mine consistently £9.50 on Wednesday). If they collect early on the days, they may have had some stores still on £7 with only some going to £9.50 which then resulted in the £6 price from some that were unchanged on Monday and still hadn't changed on Wednesday morning.

If they are using butane instead of propane it has a lower/higher freezing point.

    1x Oreo Original Biscuits 10 Snack Packs (220g) £1.88 £1.91

    :(:(
Yes, they do collect too early in the day to pick up the M price. (Sighs.) What are we to do? Probably buy original version vs T.

The problem is we are requiring half the APG's M stores - assuming all of them have the product with SELs - to have changed to the offer price by the time the collectors see it. Whereas I see the new offer, generally in my first store, don't doubt that it has just started and then don't check it any further elsewhere. (If I did that though, I would have to check for every item in every store and not just my query carryovers - that's not possible within the time available so I have to do it this way - I am, I think, on correct prices though and they are not - can't be helped as you do find stores with variant prices and haven't changed their SELs - also probably not helped on 'new' offers by the prioritisation for changes having to be on the products that have just increased in price.) I'll cross them off from my list as not working and we'll have another go after Monday's data eventually reaches the system by around the middle of next week:(.

I will assume that all three I have comparable against M are picking up incorrect £1.91 price - can't see that Golden version is going to be any different (however, they could have this 'one third of a job' stores again, or even one fifth of a job (five versions in M), where a member of M staff only puts one offer label on and then seemingly gives up or forgets the rest - it seems to be just how people generally, incompletists, work). It may be thought my system of trying to obtain prices is biased in favour of getting offer prices - however I also checked to try to ensure the Villa Maria had gone to full price, got full price for that but the APG has got an offer price. My own result and the APG are usually in more agreement but it seems we have these differences this time.

The SELs are all over the place in M, particularly on these items that have changed in price which we are looking at. Actually, as regards myself, things were not too bad in M on Wednesday and I seemed to be able to cross off a lot of items that were expected to have increased in price and which it appeared had actually expired, so was not left with as much outstanding apart from the same, and a few intractable, items to take from store to store - and, as I suggest, a few that, really annoying, were trying to work out what price they were - only to end up with two at different prices, then another had one of those prices or was no trace - so still don't know which price it is - then have another that is still unclear and a further one that still leaves me guessing - the items just could go either way and I never know what they really are! Wednesday overall was not too bad, as able to settle more straight off, but, as I say, I had these few items that were difficult to sort - whereas a lot of Monday was spent on checking that a lot more items had remained at the prices they were supposed to have been before. I found Monday therefore, overall, was a longer check whereas Wednesday, when a lot more changed, it was not as much checking as much of what was expected to have ended seemed to have done so and was easily resolved - but just with these few annoying items:mad: (I like them really:rotfl:) left over from store after store, still unresolved after four places some of them were, that required checking five times over (really fed up of them after the fourth place!:rotfl:) but maybe that's just me not trusting anything I see and wishing to see it five times before I still then don't trust it to be correct.

(I have had, in the past, offers on a range showing online and found five stores in a row none of them showing the offers with only a single sixth store showing them and, apparently, being right - so, even five of full price I still don't trust that that is correct - and that is the situation I ended up with on the Villa Maria mid-week this week - I had £9.50 times five - all my stores having changed to full price SEL, but they do that when it could still be £7 - I saw no £7 now anywhere but it still doesn't mean that it wasn't - because, sometimes, five stores can be showing full price and the item still apparently be on offer (I was still never sure my one store or online was correct:rotfl:) - I would imagine it is pretty rare though - but, even so, because it happened on one rare occasion, I cannot trust that this occasion now is not also one on which the five full price indications are all incorrect - so even with £9.50 after five stores, I still doubt whether that is correct even though, particularly with £9.50 remaining online, but then online prices can fail to represent instore or be updated late, I think the £9.50, after five stores, is "probably" correct. I have still not reached a decision that it is though and I am still not sure that it is correct:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I am never sure about anything - as anything I think at all could be incorrect.)

I don't know! I have no idea!(:rotfl:) With the few items at the end remaining, I end up making my own judgement as to whether I think it is likely they have changed or not (even assuming I ever knew or got the correct price for them immediately before) and the few items outstanding not being a great number, with most things, at five stores, resolved and no further store within travelling direction able to get to, I have to leave it at that.

I wish I could change my stores more easily though, but I'm logistically having to start at the same place each time now - with the same items outstanding time after time again.

I'd say it was almost certainly the way my mind works though, with me trying to ensure that I am correct (which is probably more likely to result in me being wrong:rotfl::rotfl: ) and not taking anything on trust and carefully checking over and over that things are what they seem to be, even checking when it seems most people would give up or when the further checking would be pointless (but then my further check will probably reveal that everything up to then was completely wrong with the check entirely and completely justified and then turns out to have been the complete opposite of pointless) - but I think people generally would take on trust whereas I would look into it and probably find it to be wrong (or never know that it is correct:rotfl:).

Bladdy little bit of snow, could not get a taxi to the pub, so a mile walk to get me there, luckily one of the bar staff had a taxi already ordered back, so jumped in with them, but no lock in, not good.
