I saw this debated recently on another thread but who has right of way.......without checking the Highway Code......

A vehicle going uphill or downhill. Ie if there's only room for one car to get through, who should give way?

Well, on Ice Road Truckers the one going uphill has priority, surely that should be the case anyway, it is easier to get going again downhill than uphill, so the one going downhill should give way.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

There seems to be a fair spread of A's giving them out at cashpoints:)

You don't have to keep taking your card out just keep pressing "use another service"

I haven't tried bubbs. Not sure

    Thanks on both x

This is not now the "next post" referred to, but that has been delayed as I have a good receipt. I must thank T for this as it gives not quite £8. However, even if they did not exist, I would still have had £7.45 against M.

This was a nice help vs T:
1x Three Barrels Rare Old French Brandy VSOP (1l) £22.50 £16.00

Not quite the price for me to buy - still a little too high.
I also get a few pence from some Shepherd's Pie comparing mbuy vs mbuy on them buying other meals as well:
    1x ASDA Shepherds Pie (450g) £2.00 £2.16

Portion Cucumber currently comparing against what is believed to be old M price (unless all my stores went to showing 28p wrongly in unison):
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Cucumber Portion (each) £0.35 £0.22

    I get 35p vs 30p T.

    Vs T
    3x ASDA Grower's Selection Broccoli (360g) £1.80 £1.02

This does need to be bought in 3s as T on 3 for £1 (for 350g). I gather 1Kg Carrots and 500g Parsnips do not compare against T.

Fruit & Fibre was removed from T's website a few months ago:mad: but it has been back for a while now:
    1x ASDA Fruit & Fibre (750g) £1.45 £1.45

However, Breaded Chicken Burger gone OOS for T (last at 97p) so I lose yet again:mad::
    1x ASDA Smart Price 8 Breaded Chicken Burgers (456g) £0.97 N/A

Best comparison, which I again miss:(, is sadly against M now at £1. (My vs T works out even worse than against M's recent price increase.)

    1x ASDA Smart Price 8 Breaded Chicken Burgers (456g) £0.97 £1.00

Shop at 13:36 compared Villa M to Morries at £6

The APG went up and then went back - it seems to go back to a week earlier's prices sometimes. If this is Wednesday, this is now good and locked in until next week - I went up to £9.50.

My first attempt at picture posting with tinypic so fingers crossed.

My Frexei table lamp (please ignore shade as I will change it).

I drilled through the very middle of the bottom with a glass bit and the bottle has a lovely dimple in the edge that the flex fits through. It took ages and I've now decided that I wouldn't do that again but would go out the back instead. You can just see the flex in the bottle at certain angles and I'm debating taking it apart again and putting a silver tube (like that you use to cover radiator pipes) down the middle with flex running through. I might also remove label and put something else there. The world is my oyster (I'm getting carried away now hehe).

I've plenty more bottles to do, well I will have, so any ideas welcome.

The empty bottles are on there for £3.99 plus £3.25 postage. We could be paid to drink this!!

I managed to get the ATM spits today too.....thanks for the heads up Elaine but I have plenty now. I didn't dare stand and get any more as I thought I was starting to look suspicious.

From memory, don't carry a load arounfd in your wallet. The last time I did the postcodes wore off and were unusable. I think the ink tends to rub off

I need to make space in the stash room:T
My A's ATM only gave me an advert for Persil Power caps:p

    Afternoon peeps.

    No paper in atm, typical.
3 bottles of asti for mum and 3 bottles of freixenet for me separate shops.

A own brand Assam is nice 50 bags for 89p compares n/a against M. The Rington tea man called last week his prices were extortionate but I suppose he does deliver and was quite cute!
curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!
