are they like the chip ones from asda cashpoints we got 2 year ago. will scan at an asda ss without authorization. are they asda only. tia

Yes they scanned without authorisation, it doesn't say sada only and they go to valassis so I'd assume anywhere although for a 4 pack asda are the cheapest, from what I can see. 25p a roll
  • Well, I must have looked exceedingly generous when I went to T to put yesterday's bargain spaghetti into the foodbank. :D

Because I spotted the same brand on their shelves at a whopping £1.55 each.

Mind you, I nearly took it out again when I saw the little sign saying they had enough pasta for now, but as this is long-dated till 2020, I figure they'll probably need it before then, so it stayed in. :D

that's what I've been waiting for - an excuse to go to waitrose. We didn't manage to get there last weekend but I was stuck for ideas as to how to spend £4 plus beyond the almond milk :)

Just to mention izzey that I purchased my virgin ticket yesterday but no confirmation has yet come through on my nectar account....think we usually get one point added. It was definitely a Virgin east coast train but it did say quite clearly in red writing that my transaction would not get loyalty points.
There's plenty time for the transaction to be picked up and the loyalty programme info might not relate to Nectar but I'll keep you informed:)

Did you do screen shots of the red writing?
I think I would still contact virgin eat coast. I tweeted them yesterday and they replied straight away asking me to DM with the details. In the meantime I had figured that I needed to do a later train

Talking of anniversaries Eldest child and her OH have their first wedding anniversary on the 25th

Yes, its gobsmacking - it does not feel like a year

They are going to Venice (not sure exactly when) - it was the first place they went to when they were first officially together

Check the small print on these. Mine always say only valid in Greater London & I'm not in Greater London. Don't know if there are variations in the regions.

They stopped the McD vouchers in e-editions a long time ago, but they do still print them in the actual papers. If they're advertising breakfasts in the e-edition, that usually means there are vouchers in the same place in the paper.

If you want a variety of McD vouchers then keep an eye out in WHSmiths as they regularly have them at the tills.
Thanks for the warning I didnt realise that.

I thought it was strange there was no Mcd ones on the e-editions, and my WHS has not had them for about a year now.
Ive had to resort to buying some from ebay.

    These ones scanned at £2.75
Thanks to hukd but they are taking no notice.
2 types I believe but my store just had the one type with the correct weight. So rummage through them

Just tried a metro and it scanned at £11 so stick to large stores
  • My first fizz shop and realised as I got to the till made an epic mistake... brought 3 x Asti and 3 x Freixenet in the same shop! Reckon i've lost £1 a bottle APG? Also, noticed black label Prosecco £7 a bottle also on 3 for 2 - does anyone know if that is glitching?
