On the down side our 'friendly' local plasterer has disappeared and we desperately need lounge, hall, stairs and landing skimmed. Had hoped to have it done before new sofas arrived. And, no surveys still from 1poll and I only need 5p to cash out £40:mad:

I've just got a load of 20% offs on my sparks.

That said, i picked up a couple of T shirts in the outlet yesterday, think they were originally £6.50 each, got them for £2.50 each.

I also have my birthday treat, a box of chocolates up to the value of £6.00. Interestingly that is on my Sparks and I was also sent a voucher for it, just wondering if it would work twice .........

New sofa and sofa bed coming tomorrow:j:j
Friend was going to have old suite for £50 for her (newish) partner, he has been poorly so they have decided that he moves in with her and doesn't need the suite:mad:
She said she'd sell it for me :j Until yesterday evening no interest:eek: charity shop wouldn't take it as I couldn't see the fire safety labels, then 2 serious buyers :j a nice young Polish chap came to collect it today. Fortunately the grumpy one was home as there was no way he could have moved it on his own.
Deal done, but when chap was here he asked to use the bathroom, fortunately our bathroom is downstairs so there was nowt he could get up to. When I mentioned this to Mr Grumps he thought I was mad/silly, but if I'd been alone and our bathroom was upstairs I'd have followed him, that's not daft is it?

I always keep an eye on anyone wishing to use our bathroom, fortunately it is easy to keep an eye on the door from downstairs.

Yes, best to follow him if he'd had to go upstairs, besides which you could always say 'Oh, I'll show you where it is,' so as not to look too suspicious. :)

Lucky here in the flat as we have a guest/visitor loo on the ground floor, so if any workmen wanted to go, I'd direct them there!

I'm resisting the Mr Kiplings - my Oncologist is convinced sugar feeds my cancer.

JTS I have read this before!
Also read how people crave iceberg lettuce and how good it is for C patients?

I too have resisted the cakes as I know only me would eat them!

    Thank you curl girl :A

I wasn't aware of the iceberg [STRIKE]said the Captain of the ....[/STRIKE] lettuce, though I do crave green salad in general. I got through nearly a whole cucumber to myself the other day. At the moment I'm putting handfuls of cress on everything :o
