Did you know that legislation around consumption of alcohol for under 18's in Not allowed in a pub, but it IS allowed on a pub premises (i.e. beer garden).... all because the people who formulate legislation are rather useless and did not read what they wrote!

I have also been told that a child under the age of 18 can drink alcohol in a pub, with a meal. My friend who is a manager in a pub told me.

are you both saying eg a 10 year old or even a 4 year old can drink beer.

According to the drink aware information I posted above, at home a 10 year old can yes, 4 year old no.

I admit I never even considered this before as I assumed under 18s shouldn’t drink and that is probably the best approach (I know they may do, but I assumed it was illegal - but then if it is illegal to buy alcohol for an under 18, or unless 16/17 with a meal in a pub/restaurant, and illegal to buy alcohol as an under 18, where would they legitimately get the alcohol from at home ).

That ring would get caught in my towels when I was drying my hands and causing them to pull threads.:o
