When a new Lidl opens they always do a card which entitles you to a free product if you spend over fifteen quid. We had a new one opened last week, offer was free box of chocs followed by week of free olive oil, then washing powder, then bum fodder, coffee and kitchen roll.
Wish ours had done this, it opened ages ago and do not recall anything like it. Even when another one opened only a few years ago, very small one, they did nothing like it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
In my little A they have to buzz for a supervisor for even a £1+ voucher!
So my 3 wine pags will have to be saved until I visit a large store later in the week.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

Kitchen towels are good to go (mine have already gone) vs M:
1x ASDA Shades Kitchen Towels (2roll) £2.00 £1.00
1x ASDA Shades Decorated Kitchen Towels (2roll) £2.00 £1.00
A's "Average 100 sheets per roll" vs M's "Average 50 sheets per roll". M mix and match mbuy. It's possible to buy just one but any comp. should be £2.00vs £1.24 M. I thought, before I entered my receipt, "The APG never works does it - I bet this isn't going to work" but it does!
Curly Wurly still good vs M:
4x Cadbury Curly Wurly Bar (26g) £1.40 £1.00
Vs S
4x Cadbury Curly Wurly Bar (26g) £1.40 £1.00
I now have details of all the wines that my A instore is showing as being part of the 3 for 2 offer. Other than Martini Asti, I do not have any details from M instore but will work through them to see what online says for M. This is probably the right way to go: it's no good trying to get details of wines from instore M first, that may not be good in themselves at M price, but instead to limit to the 3 for 2 items in A (there are so many of them though - just how many wines does A have?) and then find which of them are in M.0 -
This is mine:
Enjoy £1 Selling Fees*Pay just a £1 insertion fee when you make a listing, and then nothing when it sells. Be quick, you only have 2 days!
*04 March 2018 until 05 March 2018. Fee per listing. Applies on up to 100 listings. No final value fees apply. Private sellers only. Accepting this offer will override all other offers. Item must sell within 30 days of listing.
This is what it usually is:
Sell for £1 max!
£1 max final value fee on up to 100 listings and no insertion fee.-Thanks Elaine, this is one to be on watch for, so easy to see what we want when they send these promotions and what we are used to getting
I hope they have zero uptake on this. It looks like an experiment to me, they've probably sent Elaine's version to so many eBayers to see how many people actually do it, as obviously eBay could be better off due to the volume of private sellers' items not actually selling.
Thanks for the heads up. My offer is the 'usual' one but I'll be very mindful in future.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

This coming from someone who pre-elite days was an aldi/lidl snob
I've just been to Lidl, two carrier bags full, spent £13, which I thought was very good. Fridge looks a bit happier now, I've been running it down in recent weeks.
Next time I go I will browse the freezers more - today I got Chicago 4 cheese deep pan pizzas on offer 'while stocks last' at 1.25. I also noticed they have cod fish fingers at 1.29 - which is a good price if it's their normal price.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

I've got one but its when you spend £20 or more. I spent £15. I wasn't spending an extra fiver for the sake of a box of chocs I don't like :rotfl:Serendipitious wrote: »I've just been to Lidl, two carrier bags full, spent £13, which I thought was very good. I went for beef Wellington at £7.99also seems like it's the only shop in the area with milk, bread, pizza and eggs :rotfl: I like Greek week in lidl and always stock up on a specific olive oil but this one seems to be doing it permanently
