It's really not the hard to work out double the difference. She worked the difference out as £22.50 which is correct. Why is it so hard to double that ? ("i'll give you the same again") Staggering how bad many people are at primary school maths.
I could never teach maths as I can't understand how people can't see the obvious!
I now think the till must have worked it out for her in the first place, I was writing it down as you would in primary school and she couldn't get it, their loss, my gain!0 -
