Just spoke to DS. He is working from home today and has one more week to work and is then on Gardening leave till end of March. He said he slept much better and was hopeful for the future.

Glad he feels happier it was obviously the right choice for him, but that does not stop us worrying, Ds3 is on his first day training to work at a bakers today. He is nervous but is so much happier since leaving college and his health is improving, I was worried about him leaving after all the hard work but now see for him it was the best option. Still not told my family yet though :rotfl:

  • Just been to Wilko. A lot of their Blox lego rip-off seem to have been reduced, 50 minifigues for £3, a lot of their small sets for 50p each and a few other bits.

Higher education is not for everyone. DS was very academic and got a good degree whilst DD spent 3 months at Uni before giving up and after a year got a good sales job but it was too much for her ( stressful ) .She now has a husband a small child and 2 mornings a week in the local coffee shop in her village. She loves it, is great at it and all the customers love her. She asked me the other day if I was proud of her and I said of course if you are happy thats all that counts. Hope he gets on ok. And as for families its his business not theirs!

Iv been on to nectar live chat re train trip, points added now after a load of questions,
    1) we have no record of this. My answer. Sent photo shot I'd kept
2)Have you got conformation email from east coast trains. My answer I think it's been deleted
3)How far did you travel. My answer HayMkt to Edin. Then 3 other trips in 5 days, so I think it's only first short trip that counts for points
    4) ok I will have to check this out with my manager. My answer. Fine
    5) did you travel east or west coast trains. My answer. Sorry I'm from down south and not really sure, ( think I'm sounding a bit thick by this time)
I would say it was east coast
    6) how much did you pay. My answer. In total about £70
    7) ok I'll add your 1000 points this time, please make sure you keep e mail confirmation in future, as we have no record

Just checked nectar balance 1058 points added.
Having same argument with them atm grrrr. I have email confirmation but not screen shot of the offer.

eta. found email with offer. Now he is going to look again lol
