Afternoon peeps.
Soooo cold.
Disappointed to miss the argoose test.
Must have gone quickly.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
Also in Mr Ts this afternoon I took in a small bag of stuff for the foodbank collection only to find it totally full and piled right up hgh.
So then we were having a dither. I am sure one of the Tesco CS girls is supposed to tend the foodbank collection and put stuff in the warehouse when its full. So we queued up at the CS desk which had a hideous queue inevitably.
Whilst there we noticed another trolley which was a collection point for our local homeless and that in itself was getting quite full. I though the luminous green Mountain dew bottles could go in there.
Then we went back to the foodbank trolley as most of the other bits were the feebie baby foods - pouches and rice cakes so with a bit of squeezy I managed to find little pockets where I could squeeze them in.
There was also though a tin of sucking sweets. Our garage puts a tin in the car when you have had a service, the most expensive tin of sweets ever :rotfl:
OH said it would make more sense to put them into the Homeless trolley as the person who received them would probably share and then when the tin was empty it could be used to store things like baccy to keep it dry - very perceptive of my OH :A
So I messaged our local foodbank when I got home and the lady said she has a foot in plaster for another day, hence the slight delay in emptying this week“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Nice shop
I have oola envy - sadly our store does not stock them, nice chap checked the stock thingy, much wailing and gnashing of teeth ...
Nigella did a chocolate mouse on the TV the other night, loved the mini glass tea cups she put it in.
But what put me off was the uncooked eggs and the olive oil in them - uggh
Neither Dh or me liked the ooola ! Overpriced at £2.xx for 3 smaller than usual pots and both of us thought they had an odd, slightly synthetic aftertaste. A nice glass of Jack Daniels improved matters no end.ELITE 5:2

The main aim for the mr T visit this afternoon was the oola choc mouse - sadly thawted
But I also got the Shloer for GJ - on offer for £1.10 with 50p cashback so quite acceptable.
Also metcalfes which GJ gives 50p
Metcalfes is also on COS with 50p cashback so free popcorn :j
I made sure I got the purple bags but on the receipt it just says popcorn - not sure if its the same for all flavours though.
One of the shloer flavours came up as juice drink £1.10 but I imagine its the only item that is £1.10“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Also this morning he new Iceland bonus card finally arrived - cant remember how long it has taken - must be about 5 weeks.
I registered my card online. I had a vague recollection about someone getting an extra voucher for their birthday so I adjusted my birthday - I have probably made this up.
Then I had an email through which said I should have had an introductory coupon along with my new card. So I messaged Iceland via FB to ask about this.
Whilst we were in Mr Ts I got a reply from Iceland which I just glanced at - it just started with the usual apologies, problem noted and it would be passed to the relevant team ... usual stuff.
Just looked at it properly now and it then goes onto to say they are sending me a £5 Iceland voucher as compensation :T
I seem to have done very well with FB messaging today - a discussion with GJ to get the new app sorted, 80 nectar points from Nectar for the missing Lurpak points and now £5 from Iceland“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
